Fun place. Good food and great atmosphere it's a great place to also rent kayaks and paddle boards. It's one of those hidden treasures

“Great sunset...great pie....”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We went for a last minute dinner and were wowed by the view over the lagoon and river at sunset.
The Key lime pie and the orange pie....both homemade....were wonderful.

However, the fried food...not so great.
Would visit again for sunset and pie...

“Okaaay but....”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Atmosphere as a fish camp was right on...enjoyed the view and the proximity to the water. Oysters pretty tasty for price, fried scallop basket was alright. Something was wrong with the cold slaw..did NOT taste right and I cannot imagine anyone liking it. Would have told staff but I spilled icy water from oysters right at that moment on my lap! Will not bother to go back.

“Great location & food”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We had our last meal in nsb here, we were not disappointed. We went for supper, there was a 15 min wait for outside but were lucky to get a table inside. The place was packed, there were lots of locals which is a good sign. Staff was friendly our server had very limited knowledge of the items on the menu but she was attentive. Wife had the crab cakes which were full of crab meat. We shared a dozen steamed clams, turned out to be more, were perfectly prepared and fresh. Also ordered the soft shell crab which was delicious. Finally had half a dozen blue crabs prepared with their spicy seasoning, turned out to be 8 because of their size, they were incredible, lots of work to crack open but worth it. Afterwards we walked around the site, it is a beautiful location. There were lots of people outside just having a drink and enjoying the music. We were there on a Friday, it was loud. Lots of parking available. Will return. Found it to be reasonably priced.

“Great dive!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

This is a dive, but if you can get past that - some awesome food. Best grouper sandwiches in NSB and the good price is a bonus. Crab balls and crab cake sandwiches are great. Love their spiced butter for dipping peel and eat shrimp in! Great rock shrimp specials on Fridays when in season. Same for soft shell crab. Decks out back allow you to watch for manatee and dolphins and other wild life. I've never had a problem with service.
