This is another diamond serving a knockout Bloody Mary you will want to come back for seconds! I suggest you make reservations for a Friday night or weekend meal. It's worth it. Sunday is always a hot and try the "zombie", a tasty treat. The staff is always friendly and have always provided valuable insight into the "Fish of the moment".

This was our first time visiting the restaurant. We arrived during Happy Hour on a Thursday evening. The Teasers and certain drinks were 50% off. It was not very crowded and we were seated right away on the porch. We ordered from the Teasers and cocktails. We had the best crab cakes ever! They had a lot of crab meat in them and a very good taste. We also shared guacamole and chips that we could tell was freshly made. I had the MaiTai and my friend had a Crusher. My drink was good, but tart like they said it was. My friend enjoyed her Crusher, it was freshly squeezed orange juice with vodka. She enjoyed her crab cake so much she had another one.
The service was great. The waiter was very attentive and others were there to serve the food and clear the tables.

We decided to try out our newest local restaurant, beside the new marina, and found it really upscale for our area. It's casual seating, indoor and outside on large deck, overlooking the river (Intercoastal Waterway), next to the large marina, where one can watch the 'charter' boats come in to unload their daily 'catch'.

We went early for the 1/2 price appetizers/drinks, and immediately found a table, on the deck. Our waitress was very good, helpful, friendly and knew the menu. We ordered appetizers, and the main meal (we shared the main meal, as they are a bit pricey compared to some other good restaurants in the area). The quacamole was 'homemade' and delicious, with the nachos. Other couple ordered Calamari, and then the fish sandwich, for their meal. My husband ordered the shrimp, which came with Fries and a side. All of us agreed it was good food and good ambiance, but for the price, there is other restaurants in the area that are just as good for a cheaper price.

In this particular spot, they seem to be catering to "boaters" and to young executives, so I'm sure this restaurant will probably survive. The day we were there, it was PACKED; they also have valet parking, and parking seemed to be an 'afterthought' when planning--it was kind of cramped; We had a handicap spot, and it was still quite a walk to the restaurant, winding down curving pathways, bordered by luscious foliage. Maybe this was intended to get one in the mood, for a 'tropical' evening, dining on the river. (?) But, not good for one who cannot walk very well, and is exhausted after the long trek to the restaurant entrance!

Next to the restaurant, there is a small neighborhood of new condos for purchase. Lovely homes, in the "key west" style and colors, lovely landscaping, etc. but very close to the restaurant, being so close, you can walk out your front door, and be right there! Again, aimed at the more affluent residents of this area (or ones that come in from other cities, on their large boats)?

All in all, it is nice experience and 'might' go back again, but the prices might be the deciding factor when next we want to dine out. This area has LOADS of good restaurants, so unlikely that anyone will 'go hungry'.

We called in to Outriggers for early evening cocktails. We had some lovely drinks and the restaurant is in a super spot by the water. We didn't try the food but the place was packed so they must be doing something right.
