My party of four returned to Outriggers after simply having drinks our first visit. The bar, location and landscaping are great, but that was where it ended.
To say the service was lackluster would be an understatement. No member of the staff seemed motivated at all and our food runner was mad at the world. It was busy during happy hour yet four staff members stood chatting. We indicated twice that we wanted one bill and still two separate bills came. Appetizers came before beers did, which is always unfortunate. It is a younger staff but they all have the energy levels of octogenarians.
The food was not much better. Everything was bland (fish dip with no flavor? Ceviche with no
citrus or anything to jazz it up?).
This place will make it on location and novelty alone, but you can tell there is a lack of energy here. We will try it a third time, but that might be the last.
