This is a true surf bar. The decor definitely makes you feel like you are on the beach in a surfer's paradise. The food was great and fresh, they had awesome drink specials and they offer .25 cent beers when the draw bridge goes up. The outside seating are was cool even in 90 degree weather. This place is a must visit.

We rode the Water Taxi Express from Ponce Inlet to New Smyrna Beach but it was too hot to walk down to the beach area. So we took the suggestion of someone on the boat and tried the Knarly Surf Bar and Grill which was located a short walk from the docks. The food was good, the waiter was friendly, and the airconditioning gave us a nice break from the hot FL day. Some customers chose to sit on the pretty outdoor patio.

Went.ate.loved it.cant wait to go back. Thanks from an Atlanta "foodie". My wife and I had fish tacos and the kiddos had chicken and Mac-n-cheese off the kids menu. The whole scene is just perfect. The owner leased a very old condemned house, totally rehabbed the place, hired a great staff, and fired up the kitchen!
