This place is awful.
The service and food were deplorable.
I can't believe how bad the food is here. It's criminal. Canned and cheap ingredients with no touch finesse or love. Avoid this rip off joint and head elsewhere. Run fast before this place takes your money for sub taco Bell fare.

Used to Tex Mex and good service. Azteca had neither.

We have eaten here several times, and each experience has been noteworthy. The waitstaff and support personnel really know how to make their guests feel welcome and appreciated. For a real treat try the Pollo Blanco - you will love it and have enough to take home for lunch the next day. Azteca turns their guests into amigos on a regular basis!

Portions are extremely generous. Food is great, service is warm and friendly. It's a pleasure to visit family-owned businesses like this.

We have been in NSB for4 winters and have driven by Azteca many times, which was a mistake. We had lunch there today and left saying that there was nothing they could have done to make it a better experience. When we entered the colorful, sparkling clean, (including the restrooms), roomy restaurant with both booths and tables we were welcomed by a cheerful young man. Drinks were ordered and served quickly and were refilled several times without asking. Chips were warm, crispy and not salty and were served with both salsa and a delicious bean dip and were refilled quickly without requesting them.. My husband had what he described as the best Fajitas he has ever had and the portions were huge even though it was a lunch serving. I ordered the Quesadilla Club which was served in a warm, crispy whole wheat tortilla, the ingredients were fresh and the chicken meat was white. It was served with a huge portion of rice, beans and salad fixins.. We tried the sopaipillas and they were delicious, warm, crispy and not at all greasy.
The waiters spoke good English and were able to explain menus items to us. The three waiters worked together like a finely oiled gear. As we walked toward the door to leave one of the waiters walked to the door and held it for us. It may have been our first visit but it won't be our last. Don't miss this Mexican restaurant in the Publix strip mall, what a treat!
