“Great history, beautiful old Florida feel”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Just a fun add on to my day trip to New Smyrna. JB's for lunch!! National Seashore for photo ops. I still say this is one of the most beautiful beaches in this country. To heck with Conde Naste . If you like shell picking this is a good beach for it. Lots of private areas for quiet family outings/picnics. Been here often and always have a great nature experience. This time watched red fish barrel down waves chasing teh bait fist. We all know there are tons of national parks in the good Ole US of A and this rates right up there. For the record I am not employed by the Parks and Rec people. Just know a good time, great bang for your buck.

“Lovely Historical Site”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

We enjoy coming to Canaveral National Seashore during the summer months as it's our beloved choice for the beach, and have frequently visited the grounds of the Eldora State House and surrounding area during our visits. It's so peaceful to walk around and the impressive house has been beautiful restored. We have yet to catch a time when we can view the inside but hope we will be able to in the future. Also, if visit near the holidays, they have beautiful decorations up on the house and in the trees.

“Another reason to visit Canaveral National Seashore”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Canaveral Nat Seashore occupies the south end of the barrier island that is NSB's seashore. Wild and unspoiled, it reminds you of what FL looked like 100 yrs ago, The Eldorado State house is an historical artifact from a failed settlement there, and which gives you a sense of early settlers and their occupations. It is well run by the Nat Park Service. well wortha trip.

“A Walk in Time...”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Very nice walk into the past to tour this old restored house. It was a way station for travelers back before there were any descent roads in Florida. This is part of the Canaveral National Seashore which is a near natural beach on the east coast of Florida with no development and miles of pristine beach. There is an admission charge to enter the National Seashore.
