“good soup!”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

we saw that Caposey's was #1 rated for NPR so decided to check it out and it is a cute little diner! Cow theme throughout, super clean, tables and booths, yes, everyone was very nice. We had lunch and the cream of chicken/broccoli/cheese soup was very, very good. Not as thrilled w/my Chicago beef sandwich. Said it came w/gardienere and I was expecting big pieces of pickled veggies but just some small celery/peppers that had been cooked w/meat? was ok, just not as I'd expected. au jus good...not too salty. hubby had a philly cheesesteak and onion rings and said they were fine. Onion rings were pretty good! We'll go back and have breakfast. Good brisk movement of people in and out and just far enough off of US 19 for our liking.

“Down home cookin'”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Great home cooked food in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. The waitstaff couldn't have been friendlier, and they greeted regular clientele by name, remembering what they usually ordered and offering that first. The mashed potatoes are real--not out of a box, and the soups are all homemade and tasty. The local police officer recommended the french toast, so you KNOW it must be good!

“Quality Food for a Great Price”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Looking for a restaurant different from the ordinary for lunch, they rated #1 and a good home cooked type meal is always a pleasure. Enjoyed our waitress, they have good filtered water, great coffee and the food was wonderful. The owner tries to get the healthiest produce and would go organic if there was enough demand. So if that's something you like let her know. I know if we lived near by, we would definitely partake. We'll be back when in the area!
