We had dinner on the second night after opening. Great decor and layout, if a bit noisy inside. I'd recommend grabbing a table outside, weather permitting. We started out with a "flying iguana margarita ". Good but small for $12.00. Ordered the table side made guacamole, a starter and two tacos each. They were very busy so had to cancel the guacamole or we would have had it for dessert. The tamale corn cakes with smoked salmon were nice but a little too sweet. Presentation was very nice. The Farm toTable taco was excellent. Fresh, vibrant flavor. Pork belly taco with watermelon could have been hit or miss, depending on it's construction. Overall it was a miss. The two just didn't meld very well. Pork belly itself was well prepared but it would have been excellent with some house made guacamole and a little spicy Kim chi on top of this taco. The short rib five spice taco was good but over powered with too much "five spice".
The owners of this place have done well with other establishments at the beach and I have no doubt this place will "fly" after a few adjustments. I'll visit again in a few weeks.
