Had the broiled shrimp and scallops. Cooked and seasoned to perefection. Had the gator and calamari appetizer. Both were very good. The calamari just melts in your mouth. My husband ordered the special of the night mahi mahi fish. I had a bite and almost tasted like steak. We both cleared our plates! So good :)

Our waitress was drunk and didn't pay attention to our family of 5. The food took awhile and when it came out it was very oily and clearly not fresh. The crab dip in had black chunks of meat in it. I dont understand how this place has such great reviews. Save your money and don't let the other reviews fool you.

Traveling with our doggie so we had to do a take out from everywhere we ate. We were only 3 miles away from here so we thought the food would stay pretty hot. It didn't. Those in our group had the fish, shrimp dinners fried...they weren't fried crispy at all.
We know TO is always subject to the distance etc traveled so the temperature was not a huge issue. The food was just so-so in flavor.

We always enjoy the friendly welcome at the door, and it is conveniently located near the beach condos. Favorites include the crab claws, the alligator, and the bacon-wrapped stuffed shrimp dinner. Every visit to Navarre always includes East Bay Crab House!

We wanted fresh seafood without having to drive to Destin or farther. I wondered if we would run into trouble finding a place open on Monday, but not only was East Bay open - it was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. The staff, including our lovely hostess (owner?) was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the seafood was just awesome. I had the shark - fabulous - with a crab cake appetizer. I was with a fairly big group so we each sampled from one another's plates...the shrimp was equally delicious. It was by far the nicest restaurant that we've visited in the area. The only constructive criticism I have is that the wine servings were teeny tiny - they need to get bigger glasses and be just a tad more generous with their pours. The cocktails were wonderful...especially the margarita.
