“Who's idea was it again to build a splash pad and playground near the busiest highway in northwest Florida?”

Owner description: Waterfront boardwalk stretching a mile past playgrounds, picnic areas, a fishpond and the Butterfly House.

I live in Navarre and we barely go to this park. The pond with ducks and turtles is nice. The splash pad is nice as long as a bus of 30 kids don't show up and trample your 2yo twins (what happened to us). The pier seems a little unsafe and the playground equipment has seen better days. However, my main complaint is this park is only a few steps away from hwy 98, the busiest road in northwest Florida. Doesn't feel safe at all. Thank goodness the splash pad is mostly enclosed.

This park is good for kids (exception: the pier), like any other park, hence the average review. The playground was nice. Splashpad closed at five so we missed that. The kids enjoyed playing however. The lil' pond was nice for looking at turtles and baby ducks. You can't feed them tho. The pier/ boardwalk was nice but the end that walks out over the water is super unsafe. The handrails are very, very loose in many spots. I do hope they fix them before someone leans on them and falls into the water. The view of the bay is pretty here. We didn't find seashells. No restrooms here, just portapotties!

What a lovely place to walk around and even more fun for small children! There's a playground and a water feature that the kids can run through and get wet.
Be sure to check out the Butterfly House while you're there. You can enter for just a donation and they have beautiful flowers and many butterflies. We took some awesome pictures at the Butterfly House as well as the Nature Walk. Just a wonderful place to go.

This is a great stop for families looking for a playground for the kiddos. There are swings and 3 play sets. Yes, there is a pond, but it is small with only a few turtles and a couple birds. The park is located on the water, so it offers the kids a nice view while swinging.
