Have been coming to Navarre for years now. Beautiful beach and not too crowded. Do miss the days of no high rises and even fewer people. Still a quieter place than most beaches in the area. Plenty to do or not. Hope it doesn't build up to the extent of Destin.

The sand was white and the beach goes for miles. The water was clear, but close to the beach there was a lot of brown seaweed. The beach was free and plenty of room to sit back and enjoy the view. My family had a great time. Very family orientated beach without the crowd

We've been coming to Navarre Beach for years. We stay at the Regency (the best condos on the beach). The beach is white, soft sand. The water is warm in the August. It can be calm or wavy. Yes sometimes you might find algae, or jelly fish - but this is something you get on any beach in Florida. The beach is less busy then the nearby Destin or Pensecola. There are a few restaurants on the beach or across the bridge. Just a great place to spend the day or a week.

We have been coming to the Gulf Coast for years but have never seen the algae this bad. The water looked black and dirty from so much algae. But overall we love Navarre. A very quiet and relaxed place. We stayed at the Southern Breeze 3 townhome and LOVED it. The Eastbay Crab, the Shrimpbasket. and T C Frontporch were all good. If go go to Pensacola you have to check out Peg Leg Pete's it was GREAT.
