We used to live in Navarre so we were familiar with the beach. But to actually stay on it for a full week and experience it on daily walks and sunrise/sunset, now that was incredible. We live in the Tampa area now and there are nice beaches down there, but not with the sugar sand and the beautiful water color and the seclusion of Navarre. I cannot wait to return

What an amazing beach. Not crowded, tons of parking and so beautiful. Highly recommended. They had restrooms, but they were not opened when we went in April.

Very nice clean beach! A lot like Destin's without the crowd. The restrooms are nice. Although we did swim in the ocean, it was cold because the temperature was in the 60's so we didn't last long. There weren't any lifeguards on duty while we were there probably because of the temperature.

This is the type of beach you see in movies - white, sugary sand. The first day we were there, there were tons of shells to collect. Once the wind picked up, the shells were gone for several days. Because we visited in March, the beach was not terribly busy, which we really liked. The water was blue and gorgeous.

As the sign at the bottom of the causeway attests, this beach is truly Florida's best kept secret: offering the beautiful sugar white sand and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Access to the beach is free and there are ample parking areas to the east and west of the causeway. Aside from the convenience store in the gas station, there is not much available for purchase and restaurant offerings are extremely limited, so bring a small cooler - no glass allowed however. The parking areas to the east offer picnic tables and restrooms which are kept in very clean condition. There is also a swimming area on the sound side where the water can be calmer (but less scenic.) The pier is said to be the longest on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a charge to walk out there but it is fun and interesting to see what the fishermen are catching that day.
