Thank you for the wonderful review on our brand new suites! Our Club Level Suites are in the running for the most luxurious hotel in Naples! I will let our Club Concierges know of all the praises you have given them. Please be sure to keep us in mind over the summer. The same great amenities and services for only $335 per night! We hope to have you as a quest in the future.
Stayed 1 night as part of a 4 week Road Trip around the States. This has got to be one of the best accomodations we stayed, with huge spacious rooms and bathroom. Tea & Coffee facilities. Unable to comment on the dining as never ate in the hotel. Rooms were so clean, think they may have just been refurbished. Rooms were extremely comfortable and the furnishings like new! Staff were so warm & welcoming. As you entered the hotel lobby there was a beautiful smell of fresh flowers. Will definatley stay in this hotel again if I am ever passing through. Highly recommend
Thank you so very much for your gracious complements and your review! Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your 4 week adventure. We hope that you visit us again in the near future!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a 2 week holiday from the UK travelling round South Florida. We had just spent New Year at a wonderful Inn in Key West so this place had something to live up to, and it did.
After a long drive from Key West, we received a friendly welcome at reception - the lobby area is very impressive. Our room (suite?) was extremely spacious, and wonderfully comfortable. A huge bed, and the most luxurious bedding imaginable! There were all the facilities in the room we could have wanted, and although only a view to the rear, this overlooked the pool terrace which was perfectly pleasant. The huge bathroom and walk in shower area were also appreciated.
Our room was also next to the well equipped gym, which unfortunately meant I had no excuse for not using it to allay the effects of all the eating and drinking we were doing!
The pool area is lovely; plenty of space, loungers and towels.
The hotel is in a great spot, right in the heart of Old Naples, handy for all shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the beautiful beach. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and I really can't find fault with this hotel (not that I want to..).
Our stay at the Inn on Fifth definitely enhanced our trip round Florida (to be honest, I had to drag my wife away....)!
Thank you very much for writing a review on our property, I greatly appreciate it. I am happy that we were able to enhance your trip to Florida. After the terribly long drive from Key West it is quite nice to be able to walk into such a cozy guest room. I am glad that our staff was able to point you in the right direction for shopping and dining. With 33 restaurants in walking distance you can experience sensory overload when attempting to choose the right one for your needs. From everyone here at the Inn on Fifth, we thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again. We look forward to enhancing your next trip to Florida.
People I trust who have been where I want to go always recommend great accommodations and they came through with flying colors once again. I had never been to Naples, Florida, but had occasion to travel there on business for nine days in September. I quickly concluded that I was fortunate enough to land in what is probably the best part of Naples to be in, namely Old Naples, and that as far as Old Naples goes, well, South Fifth is as good as it gets. The Inn on Fifth was charming, elegant, intimate, and just entirely lovely. The hotel was actually going through an extreme makeover of interior design in terms of their "thematic identity" at the time but this was being done in a way that was obviously so well planned that it created no sense of interference. I didn't think they needed to change a thing, but I don't think anyone will be disappointed with their new image. I had the excellent luck of being placed in #306 or 308. Request either of those and you'll be top level with a fabulous view of charming South Fifth where you can sit out on a surprisingly spacious lanai and watch the world go by. I must add that the staff was incredibly gracious and friendly and made me feel like a a very cared about guest. My stay at The Inn on Fifth made a business trip feel like a vacation! That being said, I'm sure I'll return again just for fun - what an absolutely delightful place!
Thank you for such a delightful review! Our renovations have long been completed, and our Club Level building has opened as well. I am so glad that you did not experience any disturbance from our renovations when you were here in September. Boy, I tell you a lot has changed since your visit in September. The building you toured with a hard hat has been reborn as the most luxurious hotel in Naples, Florida! We really look forward to future return. Please feel free to reach out to me at email@example.com so I can personally help plan your next trip.
I arrived for a two night stand on December 30 to celebrate the new year with a bunch of friends and did not have a good experience. After my initial check in, I was transferred to another room and I was told that the room assigned to me was a handicap suite and they apologize for putting me there. The next suite I was transferred, the televisions were not working properly. I was told that once I got back from dinner that they will be functioning. I was having friends come over to watch a football game so I needed the tv's working. I was then transferred to the third suite within an hour of checking in. Our friends came over for drinks before we left for dinner and was told by the housekeeping staff that they would do the turndown service once we left. They never came back and the room turndown service was not provided. Bathroom towel were not changed and the glassware from our cocktail party never picked up. I called to speak to the general manager and was told that he was not in and that he was going to call me back. The staff then sent to my room a representative for the general manager told me that since the Club section of the hotel had only been open for one week, that I could not expect the service to be as promised with the amenities mentioned to me when I first checked in. After my fourth request he finally called back at 1:30 in the morning on New Years day. I asked why my turndown service was not done for the second consecutive night and he asked me if housekeeping had gone by my room. I told him yes and that I had told the staff that I was leaving in about one half hour if they could come back. They said that they would but never came back. Once again, all the towels used that evening were not replaced and the room was never picked up. He informed me that he was getting a full report in the morning and was going to discuss it with me. Four days later, I am still waiting for his call. He mentioned that my expectations were to high and that if I had stayed in a suite like that at the Ritz Carlton the rate would be much higher. That I was getting an introductory rate and that my expectations should consider that they had only been open for a week. I told him that that was never mentioned to me when I checked in when they explained all the amenities that came with the suite. Obviously I will not return and they should train the general manager much like they do at the Ritz. He should understand that the service was not up to par and instead of arguing with me should have been apologetic to their customers.
The guest checked into one of our luxury suites in our brand new club level expansion of the Inn on Fifth. Upon arrival, due to availability, the guest was upgraded to a Superior suite at no extra charge. On the first night, the housekeeper came to the suite twice to offer turn down service and was turned away. We were particularly sensitive to ensuring his comfort so on the second night, New Year’s Eve, the housekeeper visited his suite three times and was turned away all three times. The guest was informed that turn down service closed at 9:00pm. The offer was made to exchange dirty towels for clean towels, and he was offered water and chocolates, etc. The guest declined. The guest called the front desk at 1:10 AM to complain that he had not received turn down service and requested that the Manager call him that night immediately. The general manager did so at 1:35AM to apologize, and explain that our housekeeper visited his room three times, only to be turned away three times and to reiterate that turn down service is available until 9:00pm.
As a last minute getaway before the end of the year, my family and I were hoping for a cruise, a Caribbean vacation, beach, sand...something. On December 29th, we had no luck finding what we wanted. Then Naples came to mind, a relatively short drive from our home in Miami. We called the Inn on Fifth, got ourselves not only a room, but a "Royal Suite" room, made massage appointments and were on our way. It was a delightful stay, beginning with the appealing and welcoming ambient scent of the lobby. The hotel has just gone through a major "facelift." The newly renovated rooms were beautifully appointed and upscale. The bedding -- Frette I believe -- very cozy and comfortable. There was a queen size pull out for our 9 year old son. There is a heated pool on the second floor, a small gym and a "spa" with body and facial services. The manager, Judy, is extremely accommodating. The hotel workers, although very sweet, were uninformed about, well, mostly everything! From restaurant recommendations to the name of the scent used in the hotel, they were clueless.
I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed yourself on a last minute vacation to Naples, Florida. Our Spa Manager, Judy is wonderful at accommodating your every treatment need. Judy also has excellent recommendations for activities and dining. Thank you for bringing the inconsistency of information from the Front Desk to my attention. We have some new team members, and we will spend more time with them on the surrounding area. Thank you again for choosing us for your get away and we hope to see you again.
