“Very Nice Property”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

This hotel is very pleasing on the eye. Set in a quiet street a couple of blocks from 5th Ave. The rooms are spacious, clean, excellent comfy beds, walk-in shower. We had a small balcony which was a nice touch. My only criticism with the room was an absent fridge. Breakfast was okay, the usual continental stuff. Pool is only small but the pool area is a lovely place to sit and relax for a short time. In my opinion Naples is a quiet, classy place and this hotel compliments it well. This is a great place to stay if passing through Southwest Florida, however a couple of nights is probably all you need to explore Naples. The reason I say this is because we found it quite deserted. After speaking to people it was apparent that all the Multi-Million dollar homes are owned by wealthy people from 'The North', who do not visit in the summer months because of the heat.

Room Tip: Balcony well worth the extra charge

This place is every bit as excellent as people say. What's not to like? The property is beautiful, the front desk staff were beyond helpful and friendly (we even got a free upgrade because we were celebrating our 1st year anniversary!). The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is above average and there is a "luxury" feel within the hotel which you just cant put your finger on. Even the hallways on the 1st floor smelt like high end Vegas hotels. Weird. We really loved this place and Naples is fantastic even for sub 30 year olds!

Room Tip: We got upgraded because we mentioned on our booking that we were celebrating a special occasion. It...

If I could give it a 3.5 I would because the bed deserves an extra credit. I found the hotel room furniture and bathroom very dated. I read great reviews so I was expecting more. I stayed here on business and don't think I would stay again as I like being closer to the other side of town. I also found a roach in my bathroom which was not cool but in Florida its expected. The bed is so comfy though. Coffee and Tea selection in room needs tuned up. It was quiet which is nice too.

We visited this hotel for a long weekend away to celebrate my mother’s 60th Birthday and nobody in the family was disappointed. The location is fabulous, very close to restaurants and bars, unfortunately not within walking distance of the beach. The hotel’s decor is gorgeous, simulating a European style and the staff is very friendly, they even accommodated my niece with a cot and my sister received a suite style room. Cleanliness is definitely top priority and the in house pool was always a great place to spend time with the family. Our only complaint is the complimentary breakfast. The selection is very small, and the coffee is pretty terrible. As a result, most family enjoyed breakfast in the nearby IHOP or Starbucks. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it as it is value for money.

My partner and I stayed at The Trianon for 2 nights July 1st & 2nd. After extensive research and reading we picked this hotel for the location and the price. Both are hard to beat. The hotel is around the block from the top of 5th Ave, allowing you easy access to the restaurants and all the shops by foot. It is also within walking distance to the beach; although it’s a hot walk in the middle of July. The walk to the beach is very pleasant as you pass by some the beautiful houses in old Naples. The hotel is impressive looking from the outside and the lobby is very nice. The rooms are adequate, not quite as nice as the entrance and lobby leads you to believe. The bed was very comfortable but needs a more comfortable duvet for the comforter. The bathroom was more impressive than the sleeping area with a great large marble shower, tub and decent counter space by the sink. The continental breakfast was fairly basic. We would recommend you get breakfast in town at the little cafes or a restaurant doing brunch instead. The pool area is small, clean and very simple. The small courtyard in the back of the hotel is quite nice with a small water feature, plants and places to sit and talk. Overall we were happy with our stay at The Trianon and would probably return. The price and location are excellent, but would have preferred the rooms to reflect the luxury of the exterior facade and lobby.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on July 4th. Quiet and peaceful. Two from the heart of Naples, 5th Avenue. where all the shopping and dining is located. Another 6 blocks and we were on the soft sand of the Gulf of Mexico enjoying the fireworks. Clean, spacious rooms. Hotel staff were courteous. Will stay there again for a getaway. No restaurant and no fitness room, but a run/walk in Olde Naples beats being holed up in a fitness room.

Room Tip: Then hotel is located in a neighborhood with huge oak trees, so any room will give you views of oak...
