This was the perfect vacation for a get away from the long cold winter. We were lucky that every day was sunny either 79 or 80 degrees. The room in the Watkins building was not luxurious but perfectly fine. Very clean with an updated bathroom. Very little drawer space if that's a concern.
The pool was beautiful and a very short walk to the beautiful gulf. The beach was pristine.

Like everyone else here the high cost of beach chairs and umbrellas is annoying. Quite frankly I have never had to pay for lounge chairs at any beach resort but I have had to pay for the additional ammenity of an umbrella. I can deal with that.

The location minutes away from 5th Avenue was ideal.

All in all I would definitely return.

Room Tip: I liked the Watkins. My room had a partial ocean view with a balcony. I would definitely request t...

We gathered here last week with family members -- 4 rooms on the ground level of the Florida wing. The rooms were sparse -- a little tired looking. We were lucky to have a suite and had no problem with noise above us during our 4 days and 3 nights there. But other family members were awakened every night by noise from the rooms above them. The lobby was grim -- lots of sofas and chairs and tables but oh so depressing with worn furniture and no effort to decorate! The breakfast is fine, tho pricey (too bad the charges were always incorrect), but the lunch choices are horrible on-site. Although we walked home from the Old Naples area of 5th Avenue, I doubt many people, especially with kids, would attempt that!

This last vacation was our third time vacationing here with our family and this time was even better than the last times! With children arriving from all over the country at different times having 3 options for meals; poolside, beach bar or restaurant access to great food was fabulous and convenient.
Our son suffers from extreme and rare digestive allergies and the Executive Chef met with me and provided exceptional, delicious, safe options for him. The entire wait staff was attentive and so kind and courteous to him. They all went above and beyond for him which gave us peace of mind. We love this resort- its location, beautiful pools, open green lawn for kids to play, great golf course and har-tru tennis courts and wonderful food and service. Highly recommend and will continue to be our first choice resort in Naples.

nice Florida resort has real florida feel, a mix of motel style rooms and highrises too, gated pool areas to keep for use of hotel only, good location but you will need a car or take $10 cab to 5th ave area, rooms are nice and nice bathrooms, beds are very comfortable, hotel food is ok nothing to crave about, but typical expensive drinks and burgers, we took a morning walk about 30 min to publix grocery and go some stuff to make sandwiches and snacks and some liquor to make are own drinks, this saved us a ton of money. hotel staff very nice and helpful, rooms come equipped with a wet bar with mini refrigerator, internet is $10 a day. overall very nice will return again both adult pools and family pool, beach is right there, you do have to pay for beach chair rental for the day $25.00 per person! yikes that would of been $50.00 a day just to lay on the beach, i didn't like that.so we just hung at pool and walked the beaches.which was fine.

We wondered why housekeeping carts were in hallway late in the day until we realized they were doing a Second Daily Delivery of clean towels. Much appreciated. The bathroom lighting was the best I've seen anywhere. The free car valet service was fast, efficient and spot on professional; and the way the bartenders at the beach bar handled the orders coming from a crowd that was three-deep all around was downright awesome. Then there was the Gulf view. What can I say other than I wanna live here!!!

Our family travels frequently, for both business and pleasure. After having children, our needs from a hotel have changed. The best hotel we have ever stayed in was the Four Seasons Maui, which was beyond exquisite. Our most recent stay in Florida was the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, which was nice, and our upcoming stay will be at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island. We have stayed at several hotels in Naples, and the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is our favorite so far. The hotel has the character of "old florida", which I associate with Naples. The rooms were clean and updated (Watkins building), with a full bath and a separate sink/vanity, the beds were comfortable, the balcony was clean, the wet bar and refrigerator were a welcome surprise, and the room size would compare to a junior suite at a marriott/hilton/ etc. The hospitality was superior. Lunch at the pool was above expected quality and served promptly. Dinner on HB's patio at sunset was great. The breakfast quality was good, but service was a little slow, and the staff seemed either unorganized or understaffed. The "general store" offered breakfast, snacks, hot sandwiches, pizza, and deserts. There is a barber located in the lobby. There is a cute shop selling clothing etc. I was impressed by the details which were not overlooked e.g. the poolside shop not only sells inflatables for the kids, but actually has an air compressor with which to blow them up. The hotel and staff were family friendly and the hotel itself along with food etc., were not overpriced. The beach was great. We did not take advantage of golf or tennis. Cathy the concierge was great. We found Cosmo's pizza and to have great take out for a low key night. WiFi is expensive. Do yourself a favor and activate your cell phone as a modem for $20 a month, rather than pay $10 a night from the hotel.

The Hotel is perfectly located for the beach with excellent restaurants. The rooms are traditionally appointed with quality furnishings. A car is necessary if you want to take advantage of the shops, outlet malls and other restaurants. There is an adult only sun-bed/pool area and a larger family pool.
