As soon as the valet takes your car and the doorman escorts you to the registration desk, you sigh a deep sigh of relief and relaxation, for you know you are in for a treat! A treat that can be provided only by the over-achieving staff at the Ritz-Carlton Naples.

The rooms are huge, luxurious, plush, well decorated Florida style, and recently renovated. All rooms have some sort of ocean view, some directly overlooking the mangroves and the beach. Huge marble tiled bathrooms with both a large tub and a shower, and double sinks.

The staff is always at your beck and call, waiting and willing to accommodate your every need. One of the things I like the best about this particular Ritz is the abundance of retail stores! You never have to leave the property! You can shop for yourself, the kids in your life, the men in your life, or just stock up on the Bvlgary shampoo and conditioner you sampled in your room.

The Artisan restaurant is by far the best restaurant I've ever been to. The service is top notch (duh) but the food is amazing! The menu is now a la carte, and you can divulge in several different small portions, and still have room for their decadent desserts! The wine list is extensive, including a long list of amazing wines from all over the world!

But the spa! Oh my God! The Spa!! This is the nicest, largest, most complete, sexiest spa in the country! The coup de gras is the large, round jacuzzi hot tub in the ladies lounge area (and one in the men's, too, I assume), with a warm plunge pool on one side, a very cold plunge pool on the other side, and a huge waterfall flowing down into the over-sized tub. After the jacuzzi soak, and fast cold plunge, you'll want to relax in the very large steam room, and then the sauna. Wait for your treatment in one of two relaxing lounges, serving up hot teas and snacks. After your treatment, you can relax by the mineral pool, private only to spa guests. You have a view of the ocean and the other hotel pools, but you are in the privacy of the spa, with minimal guests. The H20 cafe serves lunch, which I've found to be hit or miss. Be sure to avoid the pear & chicken salad. It sounds great, but is lacking in meat and flavor.

If you are not at the spa or the beach, there are 2 very large pools to relax by. If you are not accompanied by children, be sure to go to the "Adults only" lap pool. MUCH QUIETER!!! Serviced by attendants to set up your towel and waiters to bring that glass of wine to you poolside. Also, some great shrimp cocktail can be had at an affordable price.

On the beach, you may be brave enough to try parasailing! I did it... just once!!

On special occasions (I was there for Easter), the new Beach House is open for champagne breakfast buffet, which is out of this world! Extensive, fresh, and succulent... the whole spread! The chef even met my special request / suggestion of asparagus and goat cheese for my omlette on the second day I was there. What a pleasant surprise!

Overall, a relazing environment in the lap of luxury! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get away.....

Dutch Family, stayed here for 14 days in july-august 07 with a family of 4 (kids 14-18) and must say it has been on of the best Hotels for leisure we ever stayed in. The pool is great, nice soft mattresses on the poolchairs and every morning the pool attendants help you with applying a towel on top of that and a second towel for drying after a dip in the pool. Beach is good with plenty beds and wonderful service. Room big, nicely decorated and kept clean. We stayed in a front gulf view room, which are astonishing. Morning buffet is great good variation and very helpful waiters. I recommend this hotel (and off course lots of respect for the valet parking guys that are really very helpful, they do not like to keep you waiting)

This was our 6th time at the Ritz Naples. Each time it keeps getting better. More amenities, more planned activities. Beautiful facility, gorgeous beach, fantastic spa services, great restaurants--little pricey for family dining: kid's buffet for $12.95 for chicken and hot dogs--aside from that, portions generally large and filling, you may choose to split them with your spouse. It is a calming and relaxing place. Enjoyed the evening movies by the pool. Even saw a manatee swimming by in the Gulf. We've never had a substandard stay there. Looking forward to next year, or any Ritz Carlton for that matter.

Everyone from the grounds crew to the front desk is very curtious and always asking you if they can assist you. I travel often but this was my first time staying at the Ritz and I'd have to say they surpassed my expectations.

We stayed at the Ritz last week the major problem is the air conditining it didn't work. I should've check better on Trip Advisor because there was another review that stated the Air Conditioning didn't work. Also the pool isn't for children under 3, they obviously need a Zero entry pool or a baby pool. It just wasn't worth the money.
