“Give this Fabulous Ritz a '10'”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2008

This is a beautiful facility. It is impressive from the moment you enter the gate, walk into the stunning lobby and check in with the friendly and helpful people at the desk. We went for my 50th birthday and we had never been to Naples. We stayed on the Club Level and the food was wonderful. Housekeeping was friendly and did an excellent job. The spa was top of the line. They thought of every amenity. The therapists were friendly, professional and very good.

My husband ordered a dozen roses for me. When he ordered yellow roses with red tips, they didn't think they would be able to find them. They did and they were the prettiest I had ever seen. Every detail he requested was all ready for us when we arrived.

We were there right before the busy season. The weather was perfect, 75 - 80, and the roads were not crowded yet.

5th avenue and 3rd street were interesting shopping areas in Old Naples. Be sure to eat at Campiello - a memorable Italian restaurant.

We had a romantic dinner at Marie-Michelle, a fabulous French restaurant where you could eat by the water. My husband said his salmon dish was the best he had ever had.

We were there 3 nights, I could have stayed longer. You could stay at the hotel the entire time and enjoy yourself completely. What a fabulous Ritz!

Of course it has the grand entrance and lobby that you would expect at the Ritz, but it is not until you open the door to your room and see the water and sandy beaches below that you realize this is paradise. I could have just sat on the balcony and enjoyed my stay, but I was certainly glad I took time to wander the grounds and beach of this magnificent facility. All the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, right down to the housekeepers, who always greeted us with a smile and a hello. Also, old Naples is only a short drive away to enjoy some great art galleries and shopping, so this location is highly recommended for a fabulous beach getaway.

It's The Ritz..... just amazing. From the minute you get off your car you feel like royalty, while checking in you are served Iced water, tea, cookies..... The rooms are the most comfortable you can find anywhere. Must do the Afternon Tea, what a treat ! I am not a tea drinker but I drank all that was served, and the sandwiches and scones where delicious. The perfect place for a romantic anniversary, you will witness the most amazing sunset.

My husband and I had a small family wedding here in September 2007. There were about 35 total of us.

The hotel did a great job. The food was terrific, the planning and coordination was perfect and the decor was so beautiful.

All of the staff did an outstanding job.

My husband and I got engaged and stayed at this hotel in July 2007 and that stay was wonderful as well.

I would highly recommend this property! This is the Ritz at its best.

This hotel is completely amazing!!! When we arrived we were greeted and served ice cold water and tea with lemon. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We loved the salt water pool and the food was great there. The beach is beautifully kept and I was amazed by how clear the water was. The biggest complaint would be the price of drinks. $12/pina colada I believe. But, they were delicious. We smartened up by day 3 and took our waterproof beach bags, filled them with ice and beer from a local grocery for the beach. I'm sure it saved us close to $500 for our group. I'm not sure if you would get away with that at the pool. We stayed at the Ritz for an auto dealers convention, and the amenities were wonderful. The theme parties were spectacular. I would go back in a second. Great trip!!!!!!!!!!

We traveled from NYC to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. This is our second time at this property, our first trip was very positive. Long Story Short we wanted to celebrate and have a nice time. The night of our anniversary two restaurants were closed, and we could not get a reservation at any restaurant on site until 10pm that evening.
Gumbo Limbo was undergoing renovation; this was not disclosed to us prior to booking the trip. It was one of the reasons we returned back to the property, having cocktails outdoors while watching the sunset. In addition to Gumbo Limbo being closed, the construction was quite disruptive while trying to relax on the beach. Also the room had an odd odor. On a good note the Spa was great. We have no desire to return to this property because it is a hit or miss.
