“full hotelservices in an appartment”
Reviewed December 11, 2011

this resort is not brand new.
We had a one bedroom suite with full kitchen for the same price as an ordinary hotelroom.
We had our meals on the big terrace overlooking a tropical garden with a pond (+ ducks), waterfalls and a swimming pool.
Walking distance to Publix supermarket and Walgreen's
We got coffee at the reception and there were computers there connected to internet which we could use freely.
Our suite was on the ground floor. Water flowing down from the apartment above us came gushing down very loudly. One big negative since that person rose early.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the top floor.

Arrived afternoon Nov22 and stayed for 3 nights. Wendy really helped us as the original suite had just been painted. 150 2 BR suites but only 58 on the rental program. Central interior of the property is a landscaped tropical paradise. There is a pavilion on the island where you can use one of five gas grills to grill out steaks. Room are reasonable and clean.
All rooms have a screened porch overlooking the lagoon.

We arrived late at the property and nobody was at the front desk (just a sign telling to call a number and the payphone was not functional, something problematic if your cellphone wasn't yet activated in the country).

However, after finally getting in the room, we ended up having a very nice stay. The place is clean and, althought is not quite nice the view from the parking lot, you'll like it when you see the inner park and small lake.

Staff is very friendly and we had no further problems. Anyway, I recommend you not to arrive by night, of course.

An option to check again for the next trip and a good value choice.

I'm not sure what the last reviewer from England meant by poor location. We live in Naples and are staying at Park Shore Resort as I type this, as a mini staycation. It is located pretty much smack dab in the middle of Naples! If you want to walk to everything, you need to stay downtown on or near Fifth Avenue. Otherwise, this location is excellent and convenient to everything Naples has to offer. There are several restaurants beside the resort's and a grocery store within walking distance. The beaches are a short drive away. I haven't seen or felt a mosquito since we've been here.

This resort has been in town a long time. I had never been in the rooms, and was kind of anticipating them to be dated, but what a pleasant surprise they are! One and two bedroom condos with full kitchen, separate dining and living area, and a large screened lanai/porch. (Not all are screened however so you may want to ask for one). Nicely decorated, very clean. The buildings are all situated around a lake with an island in the middle that holds the pool area and restaurant. You access the island via wooden bridges.

The buildings themselves are somewhat dated looking from the outside, but they all face the island area (you can't see the pool from all rooms because of lush vegetation and restaurant building) with nice views.

The only problem we encountered was the room we were first given had just been painted and the smell was overwhelming. We had to wait about 20 minutes for maintenance to check the room next door which also smelled of paint. But the front desk was very accommodating and gave us our choice of two other rooms and we are very satisfied. I would definitely recommend this resort. In fact, we have family coming in for the holidays and I am going to recommend they stay here now.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the pool, first floor

Location wasnt the best, it was a wooded retreat which felt like a retirement complex. pool was too far to walk, laundry was too far to walk. very mosquito ridden due to lake. condo was perfect, well equipped and so clean and tidy a bargain for £50 a night. ok for everglades otherwise fair bit of driving to do. restaurant opened evenings only and music was loud and food was pricey.

Room Tip: ask for a condo close to the pool

large, clean, quiet, lake, waterfall, family friendly, walk in closets!
front of the units seem to face the parking areas but the back of the unit faces the back where the lake and wood bridges are. If possible try to get a unit w/ view of the pool area or lake. I had a unit towards the end and there was a huge tree so it was peaceful but my kids would've love to see the water, ducks, etc.
Also, I noticed some units had an enclosed (mesh) for the balcony and some didn't so inquire if you have small children.

Room Tip: The layout of the one and two bedroom seem to be almost the same in terms of sq ft, but if you need...
