I enjoyed my stay at this Inn as it is within 1 mile of the ocean and 1 1/2 miles from 5th avenue. Excellent onsite Sushi bar and Japanese steak restaurant with a good large outdoor bar with TVs and serves lunch/dinner under a tikki hut.

The pool is right in the middle of the action with plenty of places to sit. The room I stayed in was completely redone as it seems alot of rooms are being revamped/upgraded.

Overall it may not be a high end hotel but for the price, location and onsite ammenities it is well worth its value.

Good group of people hang out as well during the evenings.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel although the room itself was only adequate. The bar that is connected to it is a lot of fun and the characters that come around tourists and local make you feel like you are in some kind of T.V. show. There are families staying here as well so there are kids around and I wasn't that crazy about swimming in the pool during the day. At night a different story. The food is really not bad at all at the bar.The sushi bar is fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. I recommend it here as a single but it is not at all a luxury spot.Good value for the money. The whole "experience" is above average. The rest average.

Family of four, 2 teen daughters incl., make 3-week "play-by-ear" Florida trip & just dropped in while cruising along US41, Miamibound. We were tired... Very friendly young lady at the reception desk had us checked in in no-time at a very reasonable (rack)rate of only $75 tax incl.
Nice and clean room with 2 queensize beds on the 5th floor with a nice view over Naples' (very) rich & famous inhabitants' dwellings. Pool was all to ourselves and just fine. I even worked out in the fitness-room in which the machinery was simple but adequate. Wifi in the room worked superb and fast. For those who don't have a wifi-card in their notebook: USB-adapters can be borrowed from the manager at no extra charge.
Complementary continental breakfast was OK; not elaborate but adequate. Even warm eggs were available.
Only negative aspect was a very noisy A/C unit which was mounted on the internal wooden separator and caused the room to vibrate. Luckily all A/C circuitbreakers were tripped during a direct hit from lightning so no more noise...

Ignore the bad reviews-this is a good deal in Naples. Like everything you get what you pay for and I was pleasantly surprised for the value of this hotel. Yes it is older, but the pool area was very nice surrounded by palm trees with a tiki bar which was open and lively until very late at night. It was a bit noisy so if you want to turn in early don't get a room by the bar, but if you're looking for a party place, inexpensive and close to the beach, villages of venetian bay and 5th ave, this is your place. In the morning they serve bagels and coffee and juice in the lobby. It is not a fancy place but if you want to save alot of money to spend on dinners out and sightseeing this place makes perfect sense. You will need a car to get to the beach but this is a great deal in Naples. Save your money and stay here-the hotel staff was very friendly.

well where do i start, booked our room through the q inns own website months in advance, requested a pool side room so we could keep an eye on our 9 year old, were given a room at the back of property near to smelly trash, the room was filthy, very dirty bathroom, disgusting stained carpets, we were told there was no other rooms available and the pool side rooms were allocated to those people coming down for the 4 july weekend (we had booked a 7 night stay) we checked out as there were no other rooms, when we told the front desk and asked her to come and see for her self she agreed to give us back our first nights stay, then she couldnt work out the refund on computer and rang manager and then things turned nasty and wouldnt give us our money back, called us liars and was so unprofessional it was untrue, id be here all night if i carried on the long and short of it is this is a very old hotel and has now come out of qinn chain i would nt go near this place its not fit for a dog, we checked in at the nearby holiday inn and this was fantastic, friendly helpful staff,

youve been warned do not at the Qinn or i think its now called the gulf coast inn, should be the dump inn

My wife and I stayed here early October 2003. I managed to get an off-season internet deal of $31.50 per night. It made me nervous, but I figured how bad can a Quality Inn be? I was pleased with the room, it was older but kept up well, and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel has an enormous pool (which they make no effort to lock up at night - which was fine with us!)and there is a huge tiki bar with many TV's out there as well. I imagine in the winter this place gets pretty jumping. You get coffee, OJ, and donuts and bagels for free every morning, which is a nice benefit. The only negatives were a couple of ants we found crawling in the room and crummy TV reception (not that we watched much of it!). But for this price, we were very happy. With tax, the total for 2 nights was under $70. They don't hit you with any BS surcharges, which is nice - just the obligatory room taxes. For that price, to be a few mins. to the beach is a great deal. Make sure to get a room facing the back of the property rather than the pool area, which probably would be a echo chamber in season.

My partner and I stayed in the Quality Inn, Naples in March 2003. The hotel was of average standard but we did find some parts of it very poor.
1) The Continental Breakfast consisted of some doughnuts and OJ. (Not exactly a healthy breakfast). We went and had the breakfast once and did not go back for it again.
2) The TV did not work, the air/con/heater had some sort of mould on it.
3) Right next to the road.
4) We asked for smoking and got non-smoking, asked to change this and they said only if we wanted our room to look out into the car park, decided to stick with what we had.
5) Requested a King Bed and had 2 queens.
6) Mostly older people there drinking!
7)Chairs and sun-loungers were very cheap and not decent.
8) Did write our comments on the "comments sheet" - expected a reply but never heard from them.
9)Bathroom was tiny!

Good points = swimming pool was normally quiet as most people were drinking next to the bar, Close to the Malls, Beaches weren't too far to drive.

Would not stay here again, we were glad to move on to our next hotel after 1 weeks stay.
