We found Roy's by sheer luck! We'd almost given up on finding a restaurant near our hotel when we spotted it & walked over. They were full, but gave us bar table.
The menu looked terrific & the staff were both friendly and professional. It was fun being able to look over the main seating area and observe the other diners.
We shared a starter of comfit duck which was good. L had sea bass perfectly prepared. I had beef short ribs which were heavenly. Dessert was billed as a chocolate souffle, but was actually a grenache. By whatever name it was sinful perfection. A nice bottle of wine topped it all off.
It was so good that we reserved a table for the next evening before we left. The next evening they remembered us and we were given a premium booth.
I should really give it 5 stars as it was the best restaurant we ate at during our Florida vacation.
