If you're craving some greenery in Naples that doesn’t involve swamp land—Cambier Park it is! This is a very pretty albeit simple park that doesn’t lean too much on being sporty or being too natural. It’s a nice, leisure park for relaxing, enjoyment—and YES for some of the outdoorsy types. It’s also much larger than it looks because there are buildings and trees that can block your line of sight. I like that.
LOVING THE SCENERY
Gimme a few sports areas! (Okay there’s no official Frisbee, Soccer or Football area, but there are courts for a Softball and Tennis) Gimme a kid distraction! (Besides the field? There’s an artsy, wood decorated big playground with lots of hiding areas and obstacles) Gimme entertainment! (There’s many performances and concerts throughout the year in the band shell as well as art shows on the field).
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
A short block away is the bustling and prissy 5th Avenue area with many restaurants, pubs and shopping. Luckily there’s a FREE parking garage closeby to accommodate all attendees. The Park is also bordering several galleries and small museums.
