“Great Place, Wonderful Staff, Unprofessional Management”

We stayed at Naples Bay Resort in Feb, 2013 for 10 days. We had purchased a 3 bedroom cottage but upon arrival we we taken to a 2 bedroom cottage. We were shocked! This was our 3rd year staying here and at first thought it was just a mistake and that we would be shown to the right cottage. Unnfortunately, that was not the case and we had to stay in the two bedroom for 3 days as there were no other 3 bedroom cottages available. We had 3 teens with us and not enough space. The front desk sent down a blowup matress so the girls could put it on the fold out sofa. We had no common area to sit in and a table with 4 chairs for a party of 5. It was a lovely little condo, but that was the problem Tiny!! We had paid for our reservation, in full, thru Orbitz 7 months BEFORE our arrival. Anyway, they offered us a few free breakfasts for our trouble. Finally, on day four, we moved to the 3 bedroom condo and it was fabulous. We were so happy for the space and to get the condo we had paid for. As always, Bobbi at the spa, Marilyn at the conciege,Pierre as our shuttle driver and the rest of the gang were just wonderful. We are quite fond of these people and they make us feel trully cared for. .They are very much part of the reason we come back every year. They make the difference. Upon departure we were told that Trish (manager) would email us our final bill. There was an expectation that some form of compensation might be forthcoming since we spent 3 days in the wrong condo. They were figuring that out. We never did get a bill. I emailed Trish 2 or 3 times. My husband called and left messages. No one called, emailed us or sent a final bill. The Mastercard bill came in and we were charged 299.00 for something but had no bill to know what the charges were. My husband asked Mastercard to help him and miraculously, we got our answer. The 299.00 was for a spa fee (use of the pool). At that point my husband disputed the bill and Trish ended up waivering the fee. We were not looking for a freebee, we just wanted a fair settlement for THIER error. Someone should have returned our calls, emails and given us a bill The management team needs to get it together. This is no way to treat loyal. returning guests. It is the wrong way to treat any guest. The resort is beautiful, the location perfect for us. But we are considering not going back because of the way mangagement treated us. It's no way to run a business. It makes us sad more than mad.Maybe my husband will reconsider. I can't imagine not seeing Marilyn and Bobbi next year and every year as we always do. Naples Bay Resort WAS our home away from home.Perhaps it's time to move on.

Was traveling to Naples for a party and needed to find a pet-friendly hotel. The reservation agent was extremely friendly and helpful, answering our questions and honoring the online rate.

We arrived late and the hotel had already taken our Fedex'ed package to our room. The check in process was smooth and efficient. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The gym and pool area were maintained beautifully.

The location could not be better. The 5th Ave shopping is within walking distance and the 3rd St shops are a short drive away.

We will definitely by back.

I cannot say enough about Naples Bay Resort. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Special thankyou to Lee and Piere who went out of there way to take us to Third Ave. They were both so friendly and made us feel we were being cared for. This Resort is beautiful. The Marina is gorgeous at night and we loved being able to take a boat to many restaurants at night and not have to worry about driving our car. The happy hours were to good to have to miss. The only down fall is it is not on the beach but the shuttle can take you and they also provide chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is great with a restaurant for lunch and drinks. Loved the health club plenty of room to workout with again great staff that are eager to always please. I will definitely be back next year . Plan on staying longer. Five days was not enough time at Naples Bay Resort so sad to have to leave. Highly Recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here, apartment we around he bag area was beautiful,luxurious and perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only slight hitch is that the hitch is that the breakfast didn't have much choice and the pastries were tasteless and not fresh but aside from that cannot fault this hotel at all and you will not be disappointed with staff, rooms or location!!! Very close to centre of Naples about 5-10 min walk.

I went there for a wedding and spent the weekend. We got there at 3:00 and check in was @ 4:00 and they would not let us check in early. We even explained that we had to go to a rehearsal dinner at 5, but they wouldn't budge. Later that night, we went to our room and there were 2 dogs barking constantly so we asked if we could switch rooms. They told us they were fully booked and they couldn't move us. After another 30 minutes of barking I called again and they said there was nothing they could do because the owners weren't around. 15 minutes later they said that they had a room and brought up a key. We had to wait almost an hour of barking dogs to change rooms! $300/ night to deal with this before our cousin's wedding made me so angry! Then they charged my credit card $765 for incidentals, it was pending but I had no clue why it was so much. All in all, every time they messed up they gave my family and a free breakfast we piled up 20 breakfasts!

This place is a gem. My room was lovely, large and immaculate. Every staff member was welcoming, cheerful, outgoing and eager to be helpful. I wish that Room Service was available, especially for breakfast. But the absence of it was not a deal-breaker at all. This was a hectic business trip, so I did not even get to see the pool or fitness room. But I have to believe that they are as superior as the rest of the resort. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We drove up to the resort and said to ourselves, "This can't be it, this is right on a 6 lane highway." But it was. We checked into our canal view room which was really a six lane highway view and VERY noisy at 9pm. My husband complained and we were switched to a quieter harbor view room. While they did their best to accommodate our complaint, we were on a six lane highway every time we stepped out the door of our room. That's just where the property is located. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not for you.

BUT is is also within walking distance to lovely downtown Naples (10 minute walk) and historic Naples (25 minute walk) as well as the beach (20 minute walk). So if you are looking for being within walking distance of everything, this could be for you.

We loved the ability to walk but hated the highway that the resort is located on. The service was also quite mixed. Some of the staff were extremely nice and helpful while others were almost nasty and mean. The property is spread out along the highway with a little city park splitting the resort in two. It made the walk to the pool/gym 1/2 mile from our room. Lovely pool area, real trek to get there. Again, a real mix. You decide.

We are glad that you enjoyed the location of the hotel and that guests can walk or take our free shuttle to downtown Naples and the Pier/beach. Our resort / club is located 8/10’s of a mile (5-7 minute walk) from the hotel through a cute little park. If you wish to not walk, our shuttle is available to take our guests to the club that has 4 pools, gym, spa, and poolside dining for lunch at Blue Water.
