Hobnob is a new place on 5th Ave South in Naples. Took over the old Jolly Cricket space. The atmosphere is beautiful. The food was to die for. Everyone loved their meal. You have to try the banana caramel desert. Not sure what it was called, but it is the best thing I have ever had!

My husband and I last night stopped in for a few cocktails and an appetizer... Or so we thought!
After we received our cocktails and deviled eggs topped with sugared bacon and tomato jam, we were staying for dinner!
My husband and I are gluten free by choice. We were very happy with how well the menu items were marked. So, we split the salad with the orange vinaigrette (just wish it had maybe some chèvre cheese in there and some type of sugared nut) - very tasty. We then ordered the coconut rice as a side, the Brussel sprouts with bacon, and the shrimp dish served over rice. I haven't had such good coconut rice since I was last in Costa Rica. It was moist and the coconut flavor was correct. The brussel sprouts dish was a very nice surprise roasted in balsamic vinegar and bacon. The shrimp dish was very nicely seasoned and was a great meal to share considering all that we had ordered. We had no left overs! We did not feel stuffed at all. No heavy feeling, just pure gestational satisfaction!
The cocktails were well prepared as well. Be careful, the drinks can sneak up on you. We ended up with 2 cocktails a piece and all of the above mentioned food for $98. It was worth every penny! The service was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They worked well as a team. When we are next in town, we will be going back to this new Naples gem of a restaurant.

We sat at the bar, were served nicely. Lots of unusual options. The only item that kept this review from being excellent was a sickly sweet dessert. Appetizers and mains were a treat.
