Description: Bha! Bha! Is an innovative Persian bistro. A chic south Florida Persian inspired and influenced BISTRO. The interior is very sharp and elegant,.. 5Th avenue chic yet with some Persian touches. It "resembles a Persian jewel box". It features classic Persian food as well as Persian fusion food. I have always billed it as that. In fact the word "INNOVATIVE" appears on our marquis and websites and other various advertisements; yes, even on this very site. Popular classic items such the authentic Ghorme Sabzi, Fesenjune, Bademjune, Halleem and Kashke` Bademjune , Aash soup and all Chelo kabobs are all present on the menu. More than half of the menu is dedicated to other various fusion food: shrimp, fresh fish, seafood, couscous, paella etc......Innovative techniques with Persian inspirations. The menu price range is in line with our neighboring restaurants here in downtown Naples. This is a Bon Appetit recommended and James Beard recognized restaurant. Although I am constantly inspired by all other cuisines, but my food should not be stereotyped with Arabic, Turkish, Indian, etc. Or any other single ethnicity. My signature food at Bha! Bha! Bistro remains just that. My signature cooking here includes many dishes on my menu that perhaps are not seen or recognized in a typical Persian restaurant. Although all the classic Persian ingredients like pomegranates, mint, saffron, rose water, turmeric, cardamom, pistachios, basmati rice, etc...Are used here, however they are not all packaged into one entree. Among the 3 dozens items on my menu some are packed with flavors and some are kept low key for the respect of diners who may not be too enthusiastic about overwhelmingly pungent flavors. My staff will go out of their way to guide the dinners into a perfect union with their choices. I invite you to come over and allow me to entice all your culinary senses by what I have created over the past 27 years. Eagerly welcoming you. Michael Mir, exec. Chef/Owner

Having been longtime fans of Bha! Bha! since it was at its previous location in North Naples, we can only say that it is now better than ever. Our dinners there have been outstanding. The service is excellent. The owner goes out of his way to greet everyone, and the staff follows suit to make everyone feel welcome. The food and flavors are unusual and delicious--freshly prepared, superb ingredients, and creative preparations. It is worth every penny for this exceptional dining experience.

“A 'must-visit' when in Naples”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

A great dining experience at Bha! Bha! bistro. A gem that stands out against the common restaurant themes found on 5th. Traditional Persian fare with their own twist. Definitely worth a try if you fancy something a little different. Friendly staff always willing to advise and recommend (although there was no necessity for the waiter to defend some of the more traditional Persian dishes). Lamb plays a large part on the menu and between us we tried 3 different lamb dishes which were all great and as for the garlic shrimp... you must try it!

“Persian At Its Best”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Very good Hummus, and shrimp appetizers. Lamb shank excellent. Plumb lamb was good. Service was professional and helpful with a unfamiliar cuisine. The atmosphere was good but not lavish. If you are looking for something a little different than what you are used to, than this is the restaurant for you.

“Even after a mistake, one of our favorites”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We scoped the 5th avenue area for inviting restaurants on a holiday weekend. We were able to get a reservation for later that day. The menu looked unique and healthy which were our number one requirements. We did not even mind paying the fee to share. Our meal arrived unlike its menu description but it was returned to the kitchen and brought back exactly as it was supposed to be. The tastes and selections were unusual and delicious. If we had more time we would have returned for a second visit. The bill was pricey even with sharing but we felt it was well worth the experience. Kudos to the manager for rectifying the mistake in a timely and no nonsense way!

“Different but excellent”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

First, expect a tab of $140 for 2 people with 1 glass of wine, a salad & and entree for each. However, you will likely conclude you have experienced one of the most outstandingly dinners that you have ever had, and that the cost was well worth the event.
We have wintered in Naples for 14 years, eating in many fine restaurants.
This dinner was among our top four.
We had a 5:15 reservation.
We suggest an early time because parking is easier and with fewer diners at that time there will be a serenity that will enhance your experience.
The restaurant is long & narrow. As we were eating our dessert we had a foursome seated at the next side by side table. Their conversation was easily heard at our table. They were Catholic and explained which local church they had attended that morning, the sermon, etc., etc., (it was St. Patrick's day.).
Now to the food... I had their least expensive Merlot. It was a pleasant surprise. Not a typical Merlot. Dry and tasty. My wife had another wine and remarked positively too.
We each had their spinach salad, minus the cucumbers. These salads were our first taste of the Persian influence. Impossible to adequately describe. Fruits, nuts, cheeses, sauce, ... wow.
I had the $34 lamb shank cooked in a casserole like crock. Words cannot describe the amazing taste. The portion was man-sized. Not one of those sparse french-like servings too often offered at pricey restaurants.
My wife had something else which exceeded her expectations. The baklava dessert was delicious, and they allowed us to split it.
We will be in Naples for about 7 more weeks and will return. Enjoy!
