Although it looks like a mediteranean place, every dish we had was fairly 'rich'. Not a problem for us but not what we expected. Service was very good. We would go back.

This was our first but not our last visit to this wonderful restaurant. The decor is so cute, it is like a side walk in Paris the way the side booths are decorated. The service was impeccable really. The food was spectacular. Our appetizer of tomatoes, blue cheese and pesto was not only beautifully arranged on the plate but was a great mix of favors. We all loved our entrees as well. The yellow snapper was cooked properly and had a wide array of yummy favors. The duck was delicious, crispy and seasoned beautifully. The person eating it, who loves duck, thought it might have been the best duck she ever tasted! The daily special, the pheasant, was a nice dish. The veal entree was perfectly cooked. We did not have dessert (only because a birthday cake was waiting at home) but I look forward to trying that next time. Do make a reservation for this wonderful place.

Having been to Paris last October I am obsessed with all things Parisian, particularly the cuisine. Naturally, I was very anxious to try Côte d'Azur since several of my friends raved about their experiences there. Happily, they were completely correct in their assessment and I spent a wonderful evening enjoying the delicious repast that was so skillfully prepared for my friend and me. The fresh bread with an intriguing dipping oil was a nice start -- our server was charming -- and it went right up hill from there. The yellow/red beet salad with strawberries, figs and goat cheese was so good I briefly considered asking for an entree size! The coup d'gras, however, was the yellow snapper in a wonderful sauce with grape tomatoes, etc. It was absolutely excellent and cooked to perfection. I will save up my pennies and revisit very soon with more friends -- it was an evening very well spent and definitely worth repeating.

Tiny restaurant situated in an ubiquitous strip mall location.
Owned and operated by a former NYC chef who transplanted here to seek a simpler life. Knew him when he was in several NYC restaurants. Small menu but authentic European flavors abound in every dish presented. Mature Sophisticated diners were mostly present in the dining room and the cuisine generally does not appeal to unsophisticated clientele . Only negative is that décor is more like a Italian country farmhouse and the staff is unsophisticated but well meaning a generally efficient
