“Grouper Fab but Lobster takes a plunge”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

The service was good but not over the top. The lobster was over cooked but the grouper was cooked to perfection, along with the steak. The presentation of the plates was excellent, the salad was fresh, vegatables were crisp and fresh, the bread was crusty on the outside, warm and very fresh. We would go back again but definetly for the early bird special to watch the sunset and get a value!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We almost didn’t go here because of some of the recent reviews. I don’t know what place those other reviewers went too but it was not the Capri Fish House. We went there last night and it was perfect. The food was not overpriced for the portions and with drinks, appetizers, homemade bread and a meal it was about $35.00 per person. It was well worth it. The place is so cute; you get such an island feel. We sat outside in the Tiki Hut. The view was amazing at sunset.

“Great ambience!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We have been coming here since August. The prices are high, unless you go during the early afternoon hours. That seems to be the best deals. The seafood has always been excellent. The steaks are good as well. It is wonderful to sit in the screened area. We've seen dolphins and fish and birds. Being from the desert, this is a treat. We took our sons with their families. Sitting in the screened area with a group of seven seemed to be an inconvenience for them. I had asked about a month before my family's arrival if we could sit next to the screened area by the water. I was told yes and my name, date, and hour was taken. When we arrived from the airport, we were told that no reservations were allowed for outdoors, only inside. That was a disappointment. But with my other son's family, we sat on the beach and the kids could play by the water while we had drinks. That was wonderful. Even though it is expensive, the food is fresh, and it is a great atmosphere to treat ourselves once in awhile.

“Overpriced”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Everyone mentions brunch there, but we went for dinner, arriving too late for sunset. The prices were high so we just ordered salads and a glass of house wine, which came to $55. There wasn't anything great about the ambience. I don't see any reason to return, unless, someday we try it for brunch.

“Don't go when it's dark out!”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Seeing other people's reviews which seem to be very keen on the dock, views and island ambience makes me think we missed the best of the place by going after dark. My review is based on the food and prices as we were out along the water on the screened porch but couldn't see any view. We thought the prices were higher than either Naples or Marcos Island "proper" and the food not the least bit better. We each had a salad - one a Cobb for $18.99 and the other a Spinach and Shrimp for $19.99. For two salads and two glasses of wine total it came to $55.10 which seemed high. The salads were fine but completely ordinary - no extra flair of any kind in the taste or ingredients. The service was good and friendly. It could probably be enjoyable pulling up in a boat or having a drink at sunset on the beach but I would not recommend making the effort to go there for a dinner after dark.
