“Bad”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We were looking for Italian and came across Pazzo. I had the Chicken Parmesan with extra sauce and no cheese on top. The order came out with cheese on top. It was returned and came back as ordered. The chicken had a big chicken bone attached to it. I never had a chicken parm with a big chicken bone attached to it. It was a little troubling but I still ate the chicken. It seemed tough probably overcooked. My wife had The cheese ravioli. She thought it was good. It is not offered only to kids. They charged us a lot more then they should have but we were on vacation and not going to dispute it. The service was bad. The waiter did not care about us. He was rude and had an attitude. The area has a ton of choices so pick another place.

Just ask anyone in Naples and the reason is we really do care about you and what we serve. To start with the bone in your chicken is to show you that your Chicken Parmesan is from an organic breast of chicken, not some frozen, tough pounded out chicken that has been in the freezer for a year. I’m not sure I understand your comment on the cheese ravioli and our wait staff it doesn’t make any sense (sorry)… although they do make mistakes, they truly want to make your night memorable. Sorry we couldn’t connect…

“Not your typical Italian!”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The pasta was delicious. Fresh pasta pillows stuffed with ricotta served with a creamy sauce with walnuts. Huge serving, great flavor that I could not even finish. Took home the remainder and had it the following day. Service was very efficient and the wine tasting for a good cause the night we had reservations made the evening fun and enjoyable. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere quite pleasant.

“Good Italian restaurant”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

This is an attractive, smart, Italian restaurant in a great location on trendy 5th Avenue. Service was prompt and efficient. For appetizers we had the fried calamari which was tender and flavorful; and the clams sassi which comprised clams, garlic, white beans and broccolli leaves in a white wine sauce. The clams sassi were wonderful, an absolute must. For entrees we had a pasta bolognese which was quite good; and the special sea bass pirata with clams, mussels, and shrimps in a white wine sauce which, by the way, tasted suspiciously like the sauce with the clams sassi. I always find the use of the same sauce for different dishes a bit of a let down, but then again maybe I was mistaken. Prices are reasonable with many entrees in the $20s (though not the sea bass) and many good wines at under $60. All in all a very good dinner at a reasonable price.

“Homemade Pasta”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Not a chain! Expensive pasta, but so is all of Naples. Homemade pasta, gravy, meatballs. Although very spicy, it was delicious. My friend had the special of the night, sea bass. It was exceptional. The best meal he ate during our six day stay!
