“Great Sports Tavern”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Foxboro Sports Tavern is a great tavern for the sports fan, especially if you came from New England. The food is good bar food. Great burgers, cold beer and Chowda. Very friendly wait staff. Worth the visit.

“Fabulous Foxboro !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013

Weather you are a sports fan or not, Foxboro Sports Tavern is a great dining and entertainment experience.
On my first visit, I was in awe of the New England flavor, specialty Northeast Regional foods, and sports memorabilia of New England College and Professional Teams. Imagine 50 Big Screens, Bartenders and waitress staff from New England great service, friendly atmosphere, 2 for 1 drinks all day long, and specialty food items that overflow the plates.

Returning, many times over...it's just a dining experience that makes me comfortable.

I found the clam chowder to be "the best" the 1/2 lb. Angus burgers difficult to finish, and presented to perfection, the sea food specials, scallops, scrod, fried clams w/bellies, and the lobster roll just as I remember them from Thompson's Clam Bar at the Cape. Do not attempt the Burger challenge unless you have not eaten in a week...the biggest and best I have ever seen.
Pizza night was awesome, as well as the other 1/2 priced specialty dining events nightly including a Sunday night 1/2 priced Prime Rib special, and all you can eat fried chicken night.

If you are a Patriots fan, get their early, game day is busy...but what a crowd ! Everyone is so friendly, you meet different folks from all over the North East...

Congratulations to a well run, fun, unpretentious, friendly Sports Bar with great staff, wonderful service with food to match.

“Great sports bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

This was one of the better sports bar in naples. Lots of big tvs, good food, and friendly fun bartender with a Boston accent. They have a New England team theme, and they do a good job at it from the accents to the pictures on the wall. Nice big place. Will be back to watch some games here that's for sure.

“Not so "wicked good" anymore....”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

My friends and family have dined here for years. This place was always a must when we would head over to Naples. We were there on the evening (7:00p) of Saturday, September 7th. There were four (4) of us in our party and the place wasn't crowded AT ALL for a Saturday night. I soon discovered why. Our server was trying to take our drink order before we even sat down and seemed annoyed that we asked for a moment to sit and browse the menu prior to ordering anything. We ordered an appetizer of the corn dog nuggets and while they came out in a timely manner, it looked like they had spent a little too much time in the fryer. We had been out and about in the sun all day so we just brushed off the burnt ones and ate the ones that didn't look like they would break our teeth. We ordered our entrees and were all disappointed by them. The meatball sub contained three (3) obviously previously frozen, out of the bag meatballs. Honestly, we could have walked next door to Subway for a better meatball sub for half the price. The fish and chips (our server was unsure what type of fish it was and couldn't be bothered to find out) was overly battered and over cooked. A few pieces on my plate were simply overcooked, large batter pieces sans fish. The pizza was bland and unmemorable. The Monte Cristo was over fried (much like the rest of our orders) and barely edible. The raspberry "preserves" were nothing more than some store bought raspberry jelly dumped into a plastic cup.

I will say their house beer (I believe the Wicked Red Ale or something like that) was quite tasty and was served in a large, chilled glass. Quite a steal at $2.00.

This used to be our go-to place as we are originally from the Boston area and loved the New England sports theme. Sadly, this place has taken a downward spiral and we will now be avoiding it like the plague.
