Popular special is 2 entrees off menu with bottle of white or red per couple. 3 couples all rated food excellent. Reservations required. We reserved outside table for 6 and privacy. They had one table on front side of building which was excellent. Decent view and quiet, off from front outside tables. Leary when reserving but well worth it on beautiful warm evening before 6

As noisy an eatery as your ears will ever get subjected to. Mostly all old people screaming and shrieking at each other. The insensitive owners ought to be jailed for inflicting such noise pollution on their customers.

The food and service were quite good, in any case, with two-for dinners for about $40. Must be a big hit for the evergrowing social security crowd.

Some outdoor tables, too, for those who wish to dine next to the crawling traffic and shuffling elderly lapping ice cream cones as big as trashcan covers.

Still, it's better than shoveling three feet of snow back up north.

We went to the Mangrove for their $39 deal - two entrees and a bottle of wine. The place was crowded and a bit noisy, but the meal made up for that. They let you pick any entree on the menu. We could choose between a cabernet or chardonnay and the meal came with a house salad. The dinners were delicious and presented nicely. I had the chicken and my husband had the paella. We both loved them! There is a nice variety to choose from. The man at the next table had the meatloaf and it looked delicious. Good choice for an inexpensive night out on beautiful 5th Avenue. Make sure you make reservations!

This is a place where many locals go. They offer a promo that includes two dinner entrees, salad and a bottle of wine( can be upgraded for $15) for $40. The appetizers are extra but reasonably priced. I had paella and my wife had the boom boom shrimp and balsamic grilled snapper. Food was excellent and service superb. We sat on the sidewalk tables that had heaters. Very comfortable and I would go again.
