“The happening place to be on 3rd”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

Choose between here and Handsome Harry's for the "later night Naples 3rd street see and be seen scene" . Had 9pm reservation (all we could score) but got there at 8:30 and got a table outside by heat lamp right away, so if this happens to you try similarly. Crazy busy at the bar. I had linguine with clams (good amt clams, too much butter and sage..). Excellent celery root gulf shrimp salad. I loved my Italian Sauv blanc, they have vino by the glass if you ask. Dh had lamb ragu with tagliatelle, he liked. Not the best Italian and very slow service due to the crowds but fun, convivial atmosphere and genial server. Loved coming here in off season. In season it is a whole another crazy animal. Everything from families to couples to women TTH for that millionaire boyfriend , you'll see it all. Ages skew older but duh this is Naples.

“Very nice lunch”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Met friends from long ago and had a very comfortable outside table where it was easy to talk an catch up. I had requested a quiet table and this was honored in this busy restaurant. Service was excellent, all lunch choices were appealing and our dishes were very good. The prices are high as Naples does seem to be but the chicken and pasta was a very large portion.

“Somewhat Disappointing”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

I went here with my wife based on recommendations from a colleague and a client. Perhaps I chose the wrong items. I originally planned to get the short rib based on the description, but changed to the duck at the last minute as it was a specially highlighted item, was recommended by the waitress and was something I don't get as often. It was ordinary, at best. The meat was somewhat dry and the presentation was uninspired. For $40, it was disappointing. We also tried the fried calamari appetizer. The breading was heavier than I like. Again, quite ordinary. Service, on the other hand, was very efficient and friendly.

“Not Impressed...”
Reviewed February 20, 2014 via mobile

Heard the place was good, then found out it was just busy... Not sure why. The food was all wrong and came out cold. We complained to our server who just kept apologizing. No changes were made and no manager came by our table to see what the problem was. Will not be returning.
