This beach was recommended by the hotel we stayed at (Best Western-Naples-AWESOME!) so we decided to check it out. Easy to locate and a modest admission price ($8). We were one of the few cars to pull into the lot and a free golf cart shuttle takes you from the parking lot along the boardwalk (an easy walk without the cart). Beautiful views through the mangroves along the walk. Apparently a hotel/resort also shares this golf cart/shuttle to the beach.

The boardwalk opens up to a concession area (which was under construction) and bathrooms. Nice, clean and easy accessible for all. The beach really wasn't all too crowded, of course it was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed walking for a bit and looking at shells and clams.

Very peaceful beach, great water and rentals. Also the fish sandwich at the restaurant was awesome!

Check your map first, because the entrance is hidden back by the Naples Grand Hotel. If you are not a resident, parking is $8.00 at the lot next to the Hotel. Recommend you go with a resident.

It is a very pleasant 0.6 mile walk along a boardwalk bridge through the mangroves to the entrance of the beach. For you non-walkers, there are golf carts that pick every 5 minutes are so (and they are free!) Once you get to the Pass entrance (it is a beach with millions of shells) there are restroom facilities and a beach side grill. You walk down the stairs to the beach area. Water is very calm, clean, and warm. Great place to talk beach chairs and a small cooler of beer/food (no bottles though and no pets)

I would rate this higher that the waterfront shops (unless spending a ton of cash at saks fifth avenue, norstroms, etc... is what you want to do)

Just returned from vacation in Naples. This was our favorite beach! The boardwalk (.5 - 1 mile walk) to the beach over a swamp and river was really unusual. You can walk it or take a free 6 person golf-cart shuttle. There's a restaurant on the beach, restrooms, inexpensive "water-toy" rentals. Overall a fun and different beach experience!

My wife, grandson and I had a great time at Clam Pass during our recent trip to Naples, FL.
Parking is $6.00, then you can choose to walk the half mile boardwalk or take a tram and, maybe, get regaled with a comedy routine by the driver.
When you get off the tram there are restrooms, nature/ecology displays and a very popular restaurant/cocktail bar.
The beach is directly on the gulf, with clean white sand and plenty of shells. Up the beach there is a sand bar which is fun for the kids.
There is a concession that rents umbrellas, lounge chairs, kayaks, aqua trikes, catamarans, etc.
All this does not come cheap but if you don't have your own beach furniture or lunch and drinks it is very convenient and makes for an enjoyable day at the beach.
