Long lines for the trams they need some more cars and the beach access is joined with the Waldorf Astoria which becomes congested

After a shuttle ride through the mangroves, you are dropped off at the Waldorf Astoria's beach area with a snack bar and beach equipment. Lovely white sand and no commercial hotels right on the beach to disturb you

My sister and her husband have traveled to this area many times and highly recommended this beach to us while we were vacationing in FL. Let me tell you, it's a gorgeous beach! Half the fun is the journey getting there! They pick you up in the parking lot and take you .6 miles on a large golf cart over a wooden bridge to the beach area! Mangrove trees and wildlife all around you, and then you arrive at a pristine beach covered with that beautiful Gulf Coast Sand! There was a great "deck" area with a cute little snack stand where you could purchase food and beverages at a very reasonable price. This beach was not NEARLY as busy as other beaches we visited on our trip, and had it not been for the recommendation of my sister, I don't think we would have come here. We asked our hotel staff a beach that they would recommend and they all said Naples Pier. That's a lovely place and we had a really nice time there too, but it was very busy every day. Clam Pass had more of a "local" vibe to it. Less crowded, and totally and utterly relaxing! If I lived in Florida, I'd walk that wooden path every morning. It was just a gorgeous area.

There is a great boardwalk to the beach. It's a 20 minute walk so ride the tram if you have some gear to take to the beach. The Waldorf astoria has beach rentals ie cabanas, sun beds, kayaks etc.. and they have a little cafe there.

Visited clam pass on a very warm day in naples, so glad we did! The sand at this beach is more than sugar soft. The free tram that takes you to the beach and back is a nice prelude to the impeccable amenities available at the gulf-side boardwalk/snack bar, and beach concession stand. Make sure to treat yourself to the beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent from the cabana boys. They are worth every cent and may possibly save you from a world-class sunburn! Highlights of our day included discovering so many beautiful sea shells right under our feet and an unexpected visit from a dolphin not more than 75 ft from the shore line. You can bet we will be back!
