This was our first visit to Clam Pass, and we will be back!
Enjoyed the convenience of the complimentary tram ride to the beach area, as well as the amenities. We didn't have to bring a thing! They have all you need at the restaurant, and chair/ umbrellas are also available. Just bring your suit and towel and enjoy!

We went to Clam Pass 2 days in a row. We took the complimentary tram (golf cart) for the 0.6 tenths of a mile board walk through the mangroves, which is a nature preseve. Once at the beach, we rented an umbrella, which the staff will kindly setup for you in the spot you desire. Once setup, we headed straight to the water. Within 5 minutes of being in the water, we noticed others focusing on the horizon, and suddenly we figured out what they were looking at. There were 2 playful dolphins giving us beach goers a show! Very cool! The beach is rich with shells, and if you know where to look, there are tons of sand dollars in the water. (You can't remove them from the water we found out!) The beach is clean and pretty, and the water warm. Great place to go. The water was NOT brown whatsoever when we were there!!

This beach is our favorite out of all other Naples beaches we've been. Parking is easy (at least for off-season) for $8 that you can pay with cash/credit card. There are free trams running between parking area and beach. I think those trams (gold cart) are provided by Waldorf Astoria which is just next to beach parking. We enjoyed walking to the beach instead of taking the tram, it was not a long walk, was around 0.7 mile. We saw woodpeckers, interesting spiders, red, white and black mangrove trees, raccoon, ospreys, pelicans and shorebirds on our way. It's a wooden boardwalk passing through the mangrove forest. For our return we used the tram which was also fun.

Beach has full facilities including a restroom& showers and a restaurant run by again Waldorf Astoria. We enjoyed our lunches in this restaurant which has beautiful views of the beach. Hotel also has some beach amenities that we didn't use. The restaurant area and the walk-way looks photogenic as everything is painted to white that completes sand color and creates a good contrast to bluish water color.

Beach has white sand and the water is pretty clean. It's not crystal clear but you can still see the bottom. While swimming some fishes are following you which creates more fun for you. Also you can have a short walk to the pass. There are a lot of beautiful shorebirds and fishes there. It's a good fishing and photo spot.

I think this beach is a great example of corporate-government cooperation. Waldorf Astoria is providing service to all people not just for hotel customers. So a special thanks to them for making this beach a little civilized without breaking wild life.

First time in Naples, and we wanted a public beach that had chair and umbrella rentals. We decided on Clam Pass Beach, and what a good decision. They have bath houses, adult drinks, and good food. The beach is very nice, the staff is nice, they even sit your chairs and umbrellas up for you. Make sure you take the golf cart, it is a long walk to get there. Walked over to the Parrot Bay Club beach shop, which is a good idea to have a shop on the beach, but after walking around in the shop, we were told we couldnt buy anything because we were not staying there, there was no body in there shopping either but us, so business must be really good if they can turn down cash sales, and you couldnt use their beach side bar and restaurant either. so make a note not to even go there.

Love getting here through the golf cart at the Waldorf. It's so serene and quiet. The beach is full of shells. I love going here!
