“Day at the beach”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Very narrow beach, liked Barefoot Beach & Wiggins Pass better. Special beach area for those staying at nearby luxury hotel. (they had their own waiters!)

“Lovely afternoon”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Well located in North Naples. Beautiful boardwalk to the beach, which is a 15 minute walk or else 5 minutes by motorized cart. The beach is long and beautiful with miles of whitish sand. Where the beach meets the boardwalk there is a very nice little refreshment area providing snacks, cold drinks and ice ceram. A very nice way to spend a sunny afternnon.

“had a great day!”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Rented kayaks from the beach there and paddled back into the canal. We ended up spending 1 1/2 hours back in there just exploring. Think we may have spotted an alligator on one of the smaller canals so we quickly turned around. Hard to get back out to ocean to return boat but had fun and good workout. Beach was loaded with shells! 3 inches deep in some places. It was the day after a rain and wind storm so that may be why. Not as neat of shells as Sanibel Island but so many. The only thing bad was that they had taked a truck or something to the beach that made huge ruts all over. We had a hard time walking it and smoothing out a place to lay. Great golf card ride out to the beach. Not a long wait going out but getting back at 5pm we had to wait 15 to 20 min for the cart. Didn't try the food but smelled great. Lots of birds on the beach. The kids had fun making them fly around. Take some tubes to float around in the mouth of the water running into the bay.

“Love this beach”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Beautiful beach, my favorite in Naples. It's a long walk down boardwalk and through the Mangroves but, you can grab a golf cart shuttle at the edge of the parking lot if you're not up to the walk. You can bring your own or rent umbrellas, chaises, and floats. Also a snack bar, restrooms, and showers.

“A lovely hidden gem in Naples!”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

The walk is a little long through the mangroves if you aren't expecting it. But it's really nice to walk through...there are A LOT of spider webs so be careful! About 3/4 through there is a small bridge that you cross that is a great spot to sit for a few minutes and even take some great pictures! The beach is beautiful when you get to the end and there is a little snack bar area offering some food and drinks. There is a free shuttle service that runs back and forth from the parking lot to the beach. We had a stroller with us and it was no problem to take that on the shuttle (oversized golf cart) on the way back. The parking is free if you have a beach pass if not it is $6 (maybe $8 I can't remember exactly). It is a great hidden gem because it is off a main highway (41/Tamiami Trail) but it is so quiet and serene back there!
