“Great course!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We were able to play the course two days after they finished the "Shark Shootout" and the course was still in tournament form - outstanding!!! Haven't played too many other Greg Norman designs but, I was impressed with the layout, scenery and challenge he presented while letting the course look natural. I will return!!

“An absolutely beautiful course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013

It is a long course with lots of sand traps and water. It is very well kept up. If your going to walk around the course, it's about 4 miles.

“Horrible!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

The greens were like shag carpet of the 1970s and the fairways were not well manicured. The course layout was very municipal. Tee time management was terrible, allowing starting tee times on the back nine to cut in on foursomes coming through on the front line creating a log jam and slow progress. Even though it is off-season, doesn't mean you get to take a break from offering value that you portray to the public.

“Great Conference Fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

I've been on a couple of occasions, both for conferences over several days. The food is always excellant and is prepared and displayed as you would expect since it is a Ritz Carlton!

“36 holes that will challenge every golfer!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Comprised of two Greg Norman designed courses: The Black Course and The Gold Course. The Gold is the home of the annual "Shark Shootout" played in December. This year, the LPGA will have their final tournament hosted by Tiburon Gold.

The quality of the Tiburon experience begins with the staff! The starters are outstanding and the staff will give you the impression that they are there to please.

Both golf courses are visually beautiful and very challenging...particularly the Black Course. Unless you're a LOW single digit handicap, don't even think about playing the tips! There is plenty of course out there from the Back Tees and the Tiburon Tees. Unless you just can't wait to lose as many balls as possible, stay off the tips. A last word of advice: You don't want to be long into any of the greens on Black. Bump and run and play your shots short of the green. Short is rewarded...Long is punished!

If you're not a single digit, don't be intimidated! There are 5 tee boxes to cater to every level of golfer.

Enjoy the nature! Bald eagles, bobcats, otters, hawks and the occasional snake can be found all over the courses.
