We lived many years in Europe and wanted to try this restaurant for the "European Specialities". The restaurant is nice, the service was very good and we enjoyed the appetizers. My wife had an excellent Beefsteak Tartar and I was happy with the Mushroom Ravioli on a morel sauce.

Unfortunately the cook has now idea about a real Wiener Schnitzel or an Emincé de veal zurichois. Instead of being coated with crisp breadcrumbs the Schnitzel was dipped into kind of a soft fried batter or dough similar to a fried chicken. The veal came in big chunks (instead of little slices) in a unknown sauce which had nothing in common with the real recipe. The side orders: Look out for the spaetzles - they are hard to find on the plate and don't order French fries - the few you get are inedible.
Our bill with a modest bottle of wine and without dessert came to approx. $ 160 (Tip included). When we left we were not astonished to see only one other table occupied.
We talked to friends after our visit and they confirmed that this restaurant kitchen doesn't deserve
the title on their website: "a taste of Europe on your plate".

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful dining experience at Flava in Naples. We had
the early dining menu (salad, choice of 4 entrees, and TWO glasses of wine per person). Price
is $20.90. We've dined at over 60 restaurants in Naples, and Flava is in the top 3. Don't miss
out enjoying the romantic atmosphere, great background music, and especially a memorable
and delicious meal. I had a specially prepared salmon dish, and my wife enjoyed possibly the
best chicken franchise w/capers and lemon sauce that anyone could ever make. The restaurant also has an extensive main menu, and extensive wine menu. There is a very enticing bar area for happy hour, and an inviting outdoor garden seating area. Very good Spanish wines are offered for early dining, which is a welcome relief from the $3 tasteless bottle wines that most all other Naples restaurants serve for early dining. Brandon was our
gracious waiter, and one of the two owners stopped by our table several times to make sure
we were pleased with everything. Be sure to check out Flava; you won't be disappointed.

As we are always looking for deals downtown, decided to try Flava. The early bird menu is limited to four entrees but between the four of us we tried 3 of them. Each of us felt their entree was fabulous. Ample sized and piping hot. The place is pretty with nice white table cloths, the service was excellent, the early bird deal with salad, entree and 2 glasses of wine (or split a bottle for 2) was a true value. Oftentimes the "free wine" that comes with these deals is really low end but this was quite good and several varietals to choose from. Owner sent over brandy after dinner and we sat and relaxed. Definitely will be back.

My husband and I had driven by this place many times and had always wanted to try it. Very disappointing. Although the decor was and attractive and the staff was friendly - that was it for the positive experience. The place was 15 percent filled while we were there so there really isnt an excuse. We ordered prosciutto and melon for an appetizer. Uh no cooking involved! Yet the table next to us ordered around the same time as us and they were finished with their meals before our appetizer arrived. Our fish entrees we lucky to weigh in at 5 oz ----- maybe! The food wasnt bad but it wasnt worth the price. Disappointing. We will definitely cross this one off the list for future visits.
