A small facility, with poster boards full of photos and information. However, we arrived in time to attend a instructor-guided tour. He talked for over 1 hour, and if given more time, I am sure he could have made it last for 3 hours. Despite the horrific and saddening topic, he made it very interesting and educational. Certainly worth the small donation fee.

Do not judge this museum by its size. The artifacts and documentation displayed at this tiny, compact museum is magnified 1,000 times and brought to life by the excellent docent who guided our group during our tour. Her knowledge was endless and she kept our group members enthralled (if that is the correct word) with her historical knowledge she so interestingly and lovingly bestowed upon us. I think I learned more at this museum than I did at the one in DC, due to the docent's unending knowledge and willingness to answer any and all questions. Definitely put this museum on your list when you are next in Naples. Ask for Millie.

Depressing...just dim and dark depressing place...Don't wast your time stopping...there are great places to go here in Naples...Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, one of the best. Fifth Avenue South, wonderful. The Naples pier, another great spot. Third Street South, Tommy Bahamas restaurant, great food.

It may seem odd to many people that a Holocaust Museum is located in Naples, a beautiful vacation community. While it is true that the topic of the Holocaust is tragic, our mission is to promote respect and understanding through teaching the history and lessons. Our volunteers are trained not only to share the history, but to challenge each visitor about how he/she can make a difference in our world today. Understanding this history often helps us better appreciate the freedoms we have in this country - including the freedom to choose a day at the beach or to visit a museum.

Read about this on Tripadvisor, was shocked to know there was such a museum in Naples. Been to the one in DC, Miami and now Naples. So much info in such a perfect place.

Was greated by a survivor who's name I forgot at this moment, but such a wonderful woman. They had a tour going on which I believe starts at 1:30 everyday. The young lady who's name I do remember, Lina was very knowledgable and went through some details I never knew.

The whole experience was another eye opening and learning experience which everyone should know of.

Check it out, its well worth the trip and the learning experience that you won't get sitting in front of the TV or movie theater and for less then it coat to go to the movies for sure!!

Ask for Lina!!

We decided to visit and joined the guided tour which had just started. The tour is both personal and informative. It's $5.00 with AAA card or $8.00 without. Kids free, teens $3.00.
Give yourself 2 hours to see it and hear the guided tour.
