We would give this a 4.5* if there was an option to do so. The food was excellent, especially the Bass and Scallop app, and the drinks were also excellent (master bartender, not just splashed together). Overall, great care was put into each dish and drink. The friendly and experienced Maitre D helped with some missing items.

From the beginning we felt welcome and important as we were escorted to a nice table in a nice open room. Drinks were fabulous and not too pricey. The food was very good only after adding salt and pepper and letting the flavors develop. Our server was a bit on the clueless side, but it did not matter since we all knew what we wanted. The tiramisu was excellent and so was the olive bread. We will definitely be back for the same.

I always like to try new restaurants and this gem opened in Feb. of this year. We dined on Halloween night, great to see so many customers dressed up! The street was closed down to traffic and there was a party and band going on all down the street. Our group of four had reservations and were seated in a nice booth. The wait staff was attentive, but when they serve the delicious olive bread, they need to have olive oil for dipping. Many people have gotten away from putting butter on their bread and now use some type of dipping oil/plain olive oil, I wish most places would get this. Overall the food was very good, one person did not care for their grouper, not the best place for fish, but the another person had the other white fish recommended by the waiter and he ate every bite. I had the butternut/duck raviolis and someone else the risotto. With so many great places to eat on 5th, this is worth a try to put on your list if you have not been yet!

The original restaurant we were going to was closed for a refurb so we had a wander down 5th to choose a place. We liked the look of the menu so decided to give it a go. Our drinks were served quickly. The Bellini was very good. For dinner I chose the pasta with lobster. I disagree with a previous review saying this dish was bland. The menu states it was a light tomato sauce. It was wonderful and complemented the lobster well. My husband chose the grilled seabass and said it was great. For dessert we had the tiramisu. It was wonderful. The restaurant is classy inside and the service was friendly and attentive. We will return to Albertos.

We had dinner here on Friday, Oct. 5th. The food was great! The arugula and mozzarella 'salad' was very tasty, and the scallop mushroom pasta special was divine! Scallops were large, and not overcooked, which can often be a problem. The chocolate torte and chocolate gelato dessert was wonderful as well. The space is decorated well, with comfortable seating and good lighting. Great location, with a parking garage behind the restaurant. Will definitely be eating here again!
