Everything I have tried has been excellent, I love the bruschettas and the unusual sandwiches. I've been here several times and loved it. Great cozy place and really good food.

We love coming here for a great coffee and freshly baked croissant in the morning or a sandwich and glass of prosseco after a day on the beach. My favourite is the goats cheese and grilled vegetables. It's so nice to have large slices of perfectly grilled zucchini and peppers inside a warm crusty baguette accompanied by a mixed green salad with the perfect amount of dressing and chips. You won't need anything else to eat for the rest of the day! The outside terrace is surrounded by beautiful trailing flowers and is a perfect place to unwind, listen to the birds and watch the world go by.

We had a lovely afternoon sitting outside, people watching and enjoying some wine, cheese and meats. Fantastic coffee and a lovely italian food boutique. I would not hesitate to go back. Natascia and Agostino are wonderful hosts and this is a jewel in the heart of where it's happening in Naples.

Dolce & Salato is located behind Bice, on Third Street South and Fifth Avenue.
It is owned by Natascia, a willowy great Italian beauty and Agostino, a dashing and charming gentleman from Rome.
They have paid attention to every detail: The red and white tiles mosaic tables, the red organza ribbon on the patio's curtains. So Chic!
And the food is amazing: Everything is made to order and they use the freshest ingredients.
My favorites are: The beef carpaccio which is served with Grana Padano, drizzled with truffle oil, and mixed grrens. It will melt in your mouth!!!
The tuna tartare is amazing and will tantalize all of your taste buds with an amazing array of textures:The smoothness of the tuna, the cooolness of the cucumber, the crunchiness of the onion and the subtle hint of mint.
I have brought at least 10 friends to this place and evryone left raving about it... and coming back with their own friends...
If lasagna are on the menu, please do not miss them: They are made by Mira, Natascia's mother who just came 2 months ago from Italy. They are the most delectable!
They are made the traditional Italian way with Bechamel sauce and Bolognese sauce, not with ricotta and marinara sauce like in most pseudo American-Italian reataurants. So creamy!
The sandwiches are served on French crusty baguettes. Check the prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato and pesto. Succulent.
And so is the bruschetta with the mascarpone with the truffle oil and the fresh thyme.
Do not forget the French macaroons or the petits fours...
This charming place is open from 9:00am Sunday thru Thursday and from 9:00am to 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. It is also a gourmet food store where they sell all of the Italian cold cuts, cheeses and fresh pastas as well as a take out place.
To Natascia and Agostino: BRAVISSIMO!!!!
