I travel to Naples on business, and just completed my second stay at this wonderful hotel. This is perfect for me as a business traveler: great location (convenient to both downtown and my clients north of downtown), spacious and elegant suites with wonderful beds and huge bathrooms, great staff, fitness center, free wired and wireless Internet, free coffee and tea in the lobby for much of the day, and a concierge who bends over backwards to make sure guests have a wonderful time. There are two restaurants right on premises: the Cafe Portofino, which serves a good breakfast buffet as well as lunch, dinner and drinks; and Charlie Chiang's, an Asian fusion restaurant with terrific food and a great wine list. It's also close to some very good restaurants in North Naples, a short drive from the hotel. The whole place runs like a Swiss clock, and is spotless. A great value: be sure to check the Web site, because the hotel usually has very creative specials, particularly for people who stay longer. Although this is a chain hotel, it has the feeling of a European boutique hotel -- an impressive achievement. My only criticism -- and it's minor -- is that the walls are a bit thin so one occasionally hears one's next-door neighbors if they speak loudly.More
