“Would love to return!”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

Booked for one night only as a stop off on our travels but a real shame we were not staying longer.

Was given a ground floor room in the 'Watkins' building (there is the main lobby/hotel area plus other buildings in the complex). Really impressed with the large room, comfy bed, all areas clean, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, plenty of storage space and complimentary use of robes. Our room certainly didn't need updating.

Fantastic bathroom with walk in double shower, WC and large sink area, a second sink area with make up mirror was really useful and this was next to the wardrobe.

We had a balcony leading out near the car park and toward the beach, very limited view but nice to have a second entrance to the room.

Had a nice shop on site selling smoothies/pastries, snacks etc, reasonable prices and got breakfast here and ate by the beach. Beach was fantastic, pool area looked clean but didn't use the pool, towels available to be returned same day but not a problem.

Had a pay for Wi-Fi which seemed standard for hotels in Florida so wasn't surprised by this.

Nice cocktails, bar tender didn't give great service, not very friendly. Front desk staff also not very helpful or attentative, did not even ask if we had enjoyed our stay on check out. Plenty of cleaning staff and other staff around the complex who were friendly.

Only real negative for us was a lost wallet which was never found, the staff were not at all helpful in finding it and wouldn't allow us to the front desk phone to call our bank, instead suggesting we drive to the nearest gas station to buy a phone card. They also didn't give us the details of the beach patrol (but the hotel next door did!) how helpful!

Regardless, we did enjoy our stay and would love to return in the future for a relaxing and luxurious stay in this hotel.

“Paradise on the Gulf Coast”
Reviewed May 11, 2014 via mobile

Our second time back at the Naples Beach hotel and golf resort as it's a great place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of Naples town centre
The beach is awesome - white powdery sand, calm blue sea and sunsets that will fill your camera storage in no time
The only slight issue was a per day wifi fee ($10) and another $18 per day for the use of beach umbrellas
Although not exorbitant it all adds up and can surely be thrown in when already paying good money for the rooms
All in all we would go back in a heartbeat as it's perfectly located , just a few minutes drive to 5th avenue where you have an array of shops and great restaurants to chose from

“Disappointing”
Reviewed April 30, 2014 via mobile

Situated on a beautiful beach but the entire place needs a facelift. The furnishings are dated and the facilities are decades old. We were looking forward to a couple of days of relaxation but the state of the facility proved to be big negative. I guess we should have expected this when we tried checking in only to find that they lost our reservation. They had absolutely no record of the reservation despite being emailed a reminder of our reservation only a day earlier. Fortunately, I kept a copy of the original reservation on my phone along with the recent reminder. However, the front desk personnel were very helpful and courteous in rectifying the situation. I'm sure this hotel has seen better days and I'm sure it will see better ones in the future if the owner/management considered extensive renovations.

“First class spot for a drink almost on the beach...”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

This place was so crushed with people that it was difficult to secure a bar seat when we arrived. But, the tenacious prevail and so we did, about 10' and 4 steps down to the beach. Had some delicious drinks and were in a great spot to watch the bartenders work their tails off and see all of the beach activity and people strolling by. We weren't there to eat so can't comment on that. There is a small bar area and then an L shaped rail with a ledge that looks out onto the beach. Every seat was taken when we were there but, you can see why...prime beach front bar. Just what we had hoped to find...it's easy to find a bar inside a hotel but one almost on the beach...a lot harder. Loved it!

“We LOVE Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Want to be pampered and feel like you're on a first-class cruise? Then visit the wonderful Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club, where relaxation is king, and service, ambiance, and friendly, accommodating staff and likeable guests are the rule!

We just returned from a blissful 10 day vacation at the Gulf Shore resort -- it was our second consecutive year there and, before we left, we booked again for 2015! It really has become our favorite go-to destination.

Why? How about having the beautiful, unspoiled beach and breathtaking ocean only steps away from your room? How about having every major amenity at your disposal, from tennis to golf to swimming (pools and the ocean)? How about long, expansive stretches of placid, pristine beach fribt to walk along, and seeing dolphins frolic a few hundred feet off shore? How about enjoying drinks and great food watching a magnificent sunset at the appropriately named Sunset Beach Bar and Grill? (By the way, my spouse and I haven't had a better hot dog or hamburger in years!!!)

The management offers guests a delightful meet-and-greet hour of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the first Monday of arrival, and it's a wonderful way to get to know everyone, including the guests!

We think it speaks volumes when you meet folks all over the resort who have been coming back year after year after year. And it isn't unusual to sit watching the waves come in with new friends, who pull over a deck chair to chat, or to be eager to exchange emails with them, and to plan to return to enjoy the resort -- and their company -- the following year. Of course, you can just hang out and be private if you prefer. The choice is all yours.

Yep, we love Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Resort. We're already counting the days until next March.
