Use to have little shops with a flair and different taste. Now it has changed to a street of touristy, expensive eateries. This time instead of hours wandering through shops we drove on by not seeing much worth stopping at.

If you want upscale southwest Florida, this street with it's boutiques, galleries and high end restaurants is for you! You can park for free and stroll along the entire street.

Oh please, they think they are so hot - they want to be Palm Beach but absolutely NOT!!! The few restaurants we have eaten in were AWFUL and a total waste of money. Let's face it,,,Florida is not known for their good food,,,,,etc. etc. I live here and do enjoy elements of living here but hey guys, you are not the Hamptons, nor the Upper East Side of Manhattan............get over yourselves!!!!!!!!!

There were many fun, unique shops to browse. Also a varied selection of restaurants and ice cream parlors.

Fifth Avenue South is a great place to eat, shop, browse, chat, people watch and just to walk and take in the sights. Yes, it can be pricey but you can also find some good deals. Lots of free entertainment through out the year and art shows.
