The zoo is really more than you would expect in southern Florida. Our grandchildren love to visit it every time they come. A great alternative to beaching everyday!

“Naples Zoo is Enjoyable”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

We visited Naple's Zoo on Oct. 26th and had a really enjoyable time. We obtained our tickets online and saved a few dollars. Our Zoo in St. Louis is free. It is a smaller zoo than ours but wonderful to walk through. It was a cloudy day but there was plenty of shade from all the vegetation, as it is all outside. The plants are beautiful and adbundant. It really makes a more natural setting of the animals. The boat ride was included with the entrance fee. It's a very short ride but we did learn some interesting facts from the very informed guides. Tigers and other animals had full viewing without bars interferring. The honey badgers were something to see. We also watched and enjoyed the shows. The shows were the best part of our visit. Some of the animals in the shows are not available for regular viewing so you could miss alot if you do not attend. The snake show is awesome! We spent about three hours and would recommend seeing this zoo to anyone.

“Great Zoo! Honey Badgers, too!!”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Our family of four, kids ages 10 & 12, had an awesome time at the Naples Zoo! Excellent exhibits, entertaining shows, and beautiful grounds!! Loved the Primate Cruise! One of the only Zoos in the US where you can see Honey Badgers...and they have three! They were running around and playing in thier huge enclosure! Also, they have Madagascar Fosas and they are adorable! Check out tix prices on-line, we saved a bunch! Highly recommend this Zoo for a few hour visit!

“Good value, great shows & beautiful grounds”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

We had a love time at Naples Zoo today. It is in lovely grounds with lots of well looked after lush trees and plants. The animals all look well cared for, and they have a great selection of "big cats". The shows were very good indeed, all put on by 3 very entertaining presenters. The boat ride was lovely where you could see a selection of animals on beautiful little "islands", it was certainly a great and unique way to see the animals. Also the feeding of the giraffes (for an extra $5) was greatly enjoyed by the children. However, the highlight of the day was seeing the alligators, in particular the feeding of them, there were at least 10 that we saw, all of good size and mesmerisingly menacing. We had been on an airboat ride a few years back, and although it was great fun, we only saw 2 alligators, and they weren't the size of the bunch at the zoo. All in all we were there about 4.5 hours and it cost about $56 (approx £32), so much better value than you would get in the UK, and let's face it in much better weather!

“Very nice place”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Very nice place for a nice day. I liked the ambiance, everybody was smiling, the shows are really good. I appreciate the little trip in the boat to see the monkeys. It's possible to talk with the guardians to have more explications about the needs and the life of the animals. The shop is very nice too, but i think a little too expensive. I needed a new memory card and i bought one there, but it was 2 or 3 times the normal prices ... Pity! But, i recommend this place alone, in couple or with children. They will certainly appreciate to give food to the giraffes .... Don't forget to see the alligators, above all when they are nourrished ... it's a very nice show and a great time !
