Beautiful evening to dine outside and watch all the people along 5th Ave. Excellent service and great food. Enjoyed macadamia encrusted grouper and my husband had crab cakes. One if our most favorite restaurants on this trip.

“Great seafood and service in an pleasantly unassuming restaurant.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

In the Miriad of restaurants that is 5th Avenue in Naples, this place is worth a visit. So many other well-established places are excellent around here as well, but the level of service and guidance regarding the menu was fantastic. My server, Brooks, was a mild-mannered attentive gentleman that took time to make suggestions and check back frequently despite the fact it was the height of tourist season. I enjoyed the clam chowder, which had an abundance of sweet tender clams. The entrée was a pan seared snapper sitting on a pillow of mashed potatoes. The plate was adorned with a light white-wine sauce and balsamic reduction. It also had a tempura asparagus vegetable. The presentation was beautiful! (See photo).

“Eh - neither here nor there”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

We were visiting naples from Miami and wanted something really yummy to satisfy our hunger! We used Yelp to help us land at this small and quaint restaurant on 5th ave. We looked over the menu and decided everything sounded delicious.

The waiter was very nice and informative and the day was beautiful. I decided to start with the lobster bisque while my partner had the soup du jour. They were both very good although not the best.

Then I ordered the burger and she ordered the lobster roll. She was disappointed with her roll because she was not told it would be cold, even though she did ask "what is the lobster roll?" so the waiter knew she had no idea what to expect. She ate half and ended up sharing my burger which is a single portion (small burger) but with the fries and soup we were very satisfied.

The burger was cooked to my liking and tasted great. I am usually not a fan of mayo but the one they have is excellent.

The price was reasonable.

We had good service and enjoyed our meal. We know a dining experience is hit or miss and although the food was a miss for her, other meals we saw on other tables looked great so we recommend to try out citrus, plus, the reviews are great.

All in all I would come here again :)

“Eye Appealing Food and Scenery”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

The people watching and twinkling white lights makes outside seating at this restaurant a must! The food was fabulous. Very fresh fish and excellently prepared. The snapper was yummy, the tower salad with lobster beautiful to look at, and the chowder flavorful. The only drawback was that the server whom was very attentive to begin with, then disappeared after our plates were served.

“Consistently Terrific Dining in Downtown Naples”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Sometimes we forget to review our "go to" restaurants. But even during a busy night in season, Citrus did not disappoint! We ordered the clam chowder and lobster tower apps, hogfish and roasted duck with risotto entrees and a bottle of Reuilly (great value for a crisp French white around $40--and a great wine for a warm night outdoors). Sat outside and people-watched on Fifth while we enjoyed our meal. Lobster was a generous portion, beautifully presented, tender and delicious. New England clam chowder - perfectly executed and flavorful, full of tender clam, not thick and gluey like so many renditions. Both entrees were excellent and plentiful. Great service and hands on owners made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening. And we got a parking spot right on Fifth. Don't overlook Citrus on a visit to Naples for the "bigger" names- you will miss out on a great dining experience. Note to owners- wish Citrus was on Open Table as it makes reserving easy.
