“Such a treat”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

This place is just adorable. It's so quaint and the food is very good. The scones are the best I've ever had and the last time there I ordered the crab quiche. It was fantastic. I generally can't leave the place without purchasing some tea to go. My service has always been exceptional. I consider it a treat to dine here.

“Pleasant Outing”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

Very quaint. I had a nice Mother/Daughter lunch when getting into town. The waiter was not overly competent, but the owner gladly took care of all issues. There was a wide variety of people eating ranging from a group of older ladies to a table of teenagers. They had delightful Peach Brandy tea which I bought a box of to take home.

“Tea Done Cheaply”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

After just returning from London three days ago, I was looking for a place to relive my lovely High Tea at The Delaunay. I was thrilled to fins a local English Tea room... Brambles. But them I was served...

The savories were made with cheap Wonder-like bread and deli cold cuts. The patries were... hope you're sitting... frozen minis from Costco. Yes, the mini eclair had the little dew drops from being recently defrosted. They couldn't even get the clotted cream correct. It was merely whipped butter.

Sad.

We were so sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your recent visit to Brambles, and wish that you had expressed your concerns at the time. We would have been happy to show you around our kitchen so that you could see the quality of the items we use in the Tearoom, and would like to now answer your concerns. Firstly, the only breads we use are Pepperidge Farm and Arnolds, certainly not Wonder Bread. For our sandwich fillings we use a good quality smoked salmon and Danish ham, we make our own fresh egg salad and use Philadelphia for our cream cheese, not an "own brand". Our pastries are definitely not from Costco, but instead are made for us by a well-respected local bakery here in Naples, Mikkelsens Pastry Shop. Unfortunately, we cannot obtain fresh clotted cream in the U.S., but we do use real Devon clotted cream produced by the Devon Cream Company of Corsham, England and imported from the U.K. As "Brits" there is no way whatsoever that we would use butter instead.
Once again, we are sorry that you weren't happy with your visit, as we always try not to just serve a meal, but to give our guests an enjoyable experience. Please find the time to come in to Brambles when we will be happy to show you around.

“Take a Trip Back to Merry Old England”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

The Brambles' Tea Room is an old fashioned, very Engish tea room. If you want to take you children to High Tea, this is the place to go. And if you just want a lovely, elegant lunch or high tea, Brambles' will not disappoint. One of my favorite places for lunch.

“It's Like Time Travel”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

A short stroll through a little alley between the wall of two buildings that are covered in vines and flowers will bring you to Brambles. When you walk through the door you are transported in time to an English tearoom that Agatha Christie herself could have frequented, if she had ever visited Naples. This little café is decorated in traditional English Country style and it serves the type of English Tea that used to be served in England in the twentieth century. But which is now only served to tourists who visit the country. Brambles serves you strawberries with clotted cream and a very good pot of tea. You may do a double take when you first enter this place because after a stroll in the hot Naples sun the last place one expects to see is an Engish tea room. But it is worth a try.
