Lots of great shops and trendy restaurants. Sea Salt and Campiellos are two good ones, but there are others. The lovely fountains are scattered around (I think I saw 5 of them). This is old Naples and definitely worth seeing if you're a first time tourist.

“very festive and nicely decorated”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

I had a nice time checking out the area, visiting shops and checking out the music at a few places. Great fun for a single person with no particular agenda.

“Great place for lunch and shopping”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

It feels more like a "village" than the upper scale 5th ave. A great place for lunch after spending some time on the beautiful adjacent beach. An easy walk between 5th ave and 3rd st.

We visited 3rd street in December. Plenty of places to eat. It snows every Thursday nite. Fun times eating and shopping. Don't miss it

“Very nice upscale area”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Nice area to visit day or evening. Although it's a much shorter street than Fifth Ave., it's very quaint with fine restaurants and shops. One morning we went to Tony's on Third, a nice bakery and wine shop. Be sure to visit this area Thursday evening when they have live music playing; and take in the farmer's market on Saturday morning.
