I have no qualms about eating various critters as well as plants. (If we aren't meant to eat animals, why are they so tasty?)
I will eat almost anything as long as it doesn't take too much effort to catch, cook or microwave.
After the good reviews I read about this place and my fondness for Indian food got the better of me, I had to give it a try.
I ordered (take out) the Vietnamese Pho bowl ($8.75) and an order of Guru Curry ($8.95)
The pho came packaged in a large container with bits of vegetables and 'meat' with a HUGE side of udon noodles, fresh sprigs of things i cannot name, jalapeno slices, tasty bean sprouts and basil. It was awesome and very fresh. I was also able to alter the spiciness of my soup with the little cup of hot sauce they gave me.
My Guru Curry was robust but the sauce was much too sweet for my liking (too much coconut milk?) but it had a great overall flavor and a nice spiciness to it.
Luckily, I had some frozen naan I picked up at Asia Depot which made it better.
I have read reviews that other Loving Huts offer Bubble tea. Why not this one?? Also, it would be nice if they offered a vindaloo dish or maybe other spicy Indian dishes and naan.
Overall, a good place for vegetarians and vegans and brave omnivores such as myself. Next time I may try the 'drumsticks' or 'spicy cha cha"...whatever that is.
