Consistently good, we dine there twice a week. The food is as good as any in Naples at half the price. Just try the Bang Bang shrimp or the Mussels Josephine or the scallops wrapped in bacon!
The oil dip that accompanies the bread while you take your apperative is unique to Bonefish, it is so good I could dine on that alone.
This is a very good formula from this chain. They Serve very fresh food in a clean and bustling atmosphere with good service at very affordable prices and keep turnover of tables brisk. So it is not for a lingering candlelit dinner, but it is for top class food.
The location is good too for al fresco dining. Inside the table are crowded together, so see if you can get a booth.That also creates quite a bit of ambient noise. The staff are well trained and efficient and welcoming. We had a problem there about a year ago with wine and the manager instantly came out to attend and insisted on a complimentary bottle in recompense. In 5 years of more dining there we have only ever had this one problem which was quite properly handled.
Problem is, it is so popular - and deservedly so - that it is hard to get a table in season. The only grouse is that you can quite often wait quite a while past your reservation time for your table despite booking and their waiting area is small, lacking seating of outside.
If I could choose one place in Naples which could satisfy most occasions and never be disappointed in the food or service, Bonefish would be it.
