Tropical Botanical at its best. Have had a Family Membership patron since inception annually. Visit often, and all times of the year to see different plants in bloom and at their finest.

“Beautiful garden”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Take time to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness provided in this beautiful setting. Space to wonder, to sit, to have a picnic, to appreciate the exquisite plantings and the uniqueness of Southwest Florida.

“Nature at it's finest!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

The botanical garden has something for everyone. We took our 11 month old there and he had a great time splashing in the splash pad in the children's garden. There are so many hidden paths here that you would have to visit more than once to really appreciate it. There are some great photo opportunities as well. I would suggest going very early in the day as it got quite hot very quickly, however there are numerous gazebos to catch a few minutes of shade and water coolers set up to grab a drink. They also have certain times that you can bring your pet as well. It is not every day all day so check the time and dates.

This garden is a beautiful gem for Naples. I was surprised by the lack of people visiting. There is a nice children's garden along with many other themed gardens. There were many nice places to relax in the shade. The garden has very large lily pads! There were so many butterflies I felt like I was in a butterfly house. There is a butterfly house, but there were actually more butterflies outside of it. My favorite garden spot was in the carribean garden where there are 2 hammocks with palm trees holding them up. What a great way to spend a couple of hours.

“Florida has such distinctive Botanical Gardens”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

I love visiting gardens in Florida. Nowhere in continental North America captures the unique array of variety that is found in southern Florida. A summer shower is , for me, often conducive to the whole effect of gardens. For those who are easily upset with the whims of such weather, it's better to pay attention as forecasts are fairly accurate as to time of day in terms of when to anticipate such developments.

Gardens are a great inspiration for reflection, source of unbridled optimism and living artistry. They are among the best places, outside of forests, and along the sea, in which to conduct a promenade. (I take walks on city streets and reserve promenades for great villages and romantic settings of varying types.)

It's always fun to take home what becomes a particularly unusual conversation piece in the form of a plant, especially if found in a receptacle perfect for highlighting its particular nuances. Naples' Botanical Gardens offers a most extensive array of such candidates.
