This garden was well done and offers a nice morning or afternoon activity. The Japanese Garden was a personal favorite of mine, along with the butterfly pavilion. It was definitely worth the time.

We went for the holiday evening tour. We loved the feel of the gardens, the music, the friendliness of the volunteers. We had a groupon for half price tickets. If we had paid the full price, we would have been disappointed - not worth it for a dark evening.

This is a very well kept garden, lots of water features, planted areas, clean paths, and interesting structures. Even has some jazz ensemble playing certain times a year. Very nice place to visit.

If you enjoy a leisurely walk through a beautiful garden setting, then plan on spending a few hours here. As a palm tree enthusiast I particularly enjoyed the Caribbean Garden, where I spent a while lounging in a hammock between two palms admiring the view. Be sure to check out the Pfeffer-Beach Butterfly House where you can see a variety of species and get some wonderful close-up photographs if you're so inclined. The admission price is very reasonable.

We enjoyed a lovely walk through the gardens. There were many helpful volunteers along the way to answer questions. The gift shop was also quite nice. I would suggest visiting here in the morning before the sun gets too intense.
